That was nice PR. If anyone believes Jim Jordan is listening to these people they don’t know him like we do in Ohio. It may be a little uncomfortable for him today, but it won’t change his vote on anything.

(the majority of my husband’s family live in his district)

“But they’re allowed under the first amendment to speak up, and my job is to listen and tell them where I’m at.”

the rest of your job is to change your perspective if you find out your ‘perspective’ isn’t the same as the people you’re supposed to represent… getting elected doesn’t make your opinions the correct opinions…

PS… you need a shave…

Shorter Freedom Caucus Idiot: I love giving my middle finger to those who disagree with me. Keep at it. Kochs have me covered.

What could be easier than slapping a flag lapel pin on your jacket and proclaiming your love of Freedom? These yokels need to learn some civics.

I’m happy he faced them and allowed them to ask questions. I’m sure he knew none of the answers assuming he understood the questions, which I sincerely doubt.

Is there any useful information in this article?

(Closing eyes) Please… take it away…

When you get to stand out from the crowd simply by not denouncing protestors as violent paid agitators, you’re not in a good crowd.

Would you say the same about changing his perspective if he came from a solidly Republican district and yet was a stout defender of Obamacare?

I demand freedom from our current kleptocracy, and Russian influence over our government. And freedom from your religious liberties that supersede my civil liberties! Caucus on that, asshole! Being elected does not mean you’re free to reduce everyone else’s freedoms.

Really it’s going to take time to set up a committee? How long did it take to set up 7 BENGHAZI committees?
Maybe these guys skhould be addresses as Comrade Rep.----------?

He was quick to demand a special investigation into alleged IRS targeting of conservative groups. Wonder why he is not as demanding this time?

Right wing shitweasel.

That and gerrymandering. Extreme gerrymandering since Boehner made the R’s make up a district for him.

Freedom Caucus is such a bogus fucking name for these folks that want to live their way and force everyone else to live their way too. Rather than all these bumper stickers that say live free or die, they should say live my way or die. I guess they could just switch to the my way or the highway bumper stickers if they don’t want to print new ones!

You’d better listen to what they’re saying. They don’t want to know where you’re at. They want affordable health care.

“… Jordan said he may support a special committee at some point, but that it would take a while to set up, according to the Toledo Blade.”

What a line of total BS and a huge lie, but what else would you expect from a tea-bagger like Jordan! Replace Trump with a democrat in the White House and you would have had 100’s of special committee’s already investigating!

PS
Jordan is dressed daily by his mother who dresses him everyday like it’s Easter Sunday!
See photo above!

Me too. I want to know every instance of constituent activism and/or pushback.

Jim Jordon is a true believer and a sanctimonious holier-than-thou kind of guy but give him credit for ‘understanding’ what the heck his job IS. Now it’s OUR job to keep the pressure on, keep talking, keep demanding, keep engaging and VOTING. Always VOTING.

The fact that he felt it unwise to run away or characterize his questioners as a mob of paid alinskyite agitators demonstrates a turning of the tide that in itself strengthens the resistance. Small victories count for something in the struggle.
