Well these class acts turned on their “Surge Pricing” in Sydney when everyone tried to flee the city during the hostage event. That makes each trip a minimum of $100. Their balls out response to this - they did it to be good guys, to encourage their drivers to go and pick up more folks.

Would a single woman want her travels tracked. Would a parent want their children’s travel tracked (as the ubbers are opting out of actually traveling to pick up their children when ubber will do it for them?).
What we do know is that UBBER won't waste a dime on security checks (H/t India), so it will only be a matter of time until some child is kidnapped and according the the PR flack - the only people who can help will be at Galt Gulch, out of touch and are unavailable to tell anyone where the effing cab went.

They also ignore laws. They are operating illegally in Portland - my tax dollars are going to lawsuits against them because they think they are exempt. Everything I’ve ever heard or read about them makes me sure it is just a scam that will make a few greedheads rich and screw everyone else.
