I guess Brian doesn’t know much about the TV business.
The most difficulty I had in conversing with another nationality was when I lived in the UK. The Cockney rhyming slang drove me crazy. Even without the rhymes, Cockney is difficult to understand. Just when you think you understand it, you get transferred to the North of England where Geordie is the dialect. That one is hard to understand, too, but thank God they don’t try to rhyme with euphemisms. I still spend evenings in front of the telly translating for my wife when watching programs from Britbox or Acorn. Spanish and French, no problem (once you forget most of what you learned in high school).
I don’t care whether he sits. Shutting up would be ample.
