And Sean Spicer isn’t being asked for a comment on this why?
Wait…people at Fox News need to see the Billie Bush tape to be educated that that isn’t acceptable behavior?
Wow! They’re much further behind than I had thought.
The program was written by Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly. It’s a “How To” course.
Kind of ironic that the man they’re pointing to as behaving completely unacceptably is their number one anchor’s biggest supporter.
Why only that video? I can think of other Trump quotes or tweets that would be highly relevant.
I’m guessing this tape is going to be standard in a whole lot of corporate anti-harassment programs. And the basis for some crisis management programs too.
It’s a new classic!
The lesson from this video - “always assume the mic or camera is on and recording at all times.”
It’s natural to suspect as much, but it’s actually based on a Trump University curriculum.
And if that should fail, then seek the presidential nomination of the Republican Party.
So. much. irony.
Absolutely, after all Trump got promoted to the Presidency after the tape came out, I guess this is a lesson in advancement.
They might be confused since from 2000-2009 they were the official mouthpiece for G.W Bush.
“Fox Uses Trump Access Hollywood Tape In Workplace Harassment Seminars.”
And they say Americans don’t do irony…
The presentation, as The Hollywood Reporter noted, was made especially awkward by the fact that multiple Fox News personalities (employees of 21st Century Fox) adamantly defended the future president’s remarks. One of those people is Bill O’Reilly, who himself has come under controversy for his own sexual-harassment scandals. “According to the source, a human resources executive quipped during the presentation that the department handled all of Fox except Fox News, so the presentation could not include any information about Ailes or O’Reilly,” THR added. “‘It was a joke…but it did not play well in the room,’ the employee notes.”
Imagine that.
“Someone joked about getting fired for harassment and wondering if the defense could be, ‘We were only told a behavior was bad once in a seminar,’ but Fox News said it was ‘just locker room talk’ over and over again.”
Conflicting messages. Cognitive dissonance. So much to sort out, and even more to unpack.
I wonder if 21st Century Fox will now have to pay NBC for use of the “instructional video”? It would be so unfair for 21stCF to have to deal with yet another lawsuit.
From the headline, I figured they were using it in seminars on how to conduct workplace harassment.
@tiowally Billo viewers remain …
Next year Fox will be able to use the so-called Russian Prostitutes Peeing on Trump tape to demonstrate “sexual harassment” by women employees on a male employer.
They care about harassment as much as they do about breaking any other law: not at all.
