You’re right. They’re probably two of the least diverse states in the country, largely white populations, but they are “people” and not polls which are so far driving whatever momentum DT is enjoying. BTW, I think way too much time in print and TV has been devoted to someone who I believe is not at all serious. TPM has to decide if it really want to be Trump Points Memo or something else.
Credit where credit is due: Mess O’Potamia was originated by Jon Stewart ca 2003 at the beginning of the Iraq war and was a recurring theme over the years.
This all makes me wonder just what does Donald Trump have on Ailes or Murdoch? Kelly is a pretty big FOX Entertainment star, one who–I thought–wields some pretty good weight around there, so to throw her under the bus seems unusual. Unless, of course, like all the other “Megyn Moments,” this is all scripted and she’s in on it, too.

There’s a family-like connection of sorts between Trump and Murdoch in that Trump’s daughter Ivanka is best friends with Murdoch’s ex wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch. Ivanka’s daughters speak Mandarin to Wendi who also joins the Sabbath dinners at Ivanka’s (she and husband are Jewish), so The Donald has to apply some measure of diplomacy (I know this because I read too much Vanity Fair). 
Well, apparently he is afraid of Kelly.
