Discussion: Fox To Trump: Air Your Grievances On Megyn Kelly's Show

Trump knows he will never be president - nor does he want it. He is going to ride this wave of publicity as long as he can. He is loving all this fucking attention he’s getting - I personally am so sick of seeing all DT all the time everywhere. Trump fatigue has set in for me

No, what we need is as much Trump as possible to be shoved down the GOP’s throat until it chokes to death - like this:

The fact that FOX has chosen to align with Trump instead of supporting Kelly should come as no surprise to anyone with more than a dozen brain cells. Kelly is women. Women are disposable chattell on FOX and in the GOP, even the cute ones. I will never understand why any adult woman would ever be a Republican.

Holy Hell, that’s something for a Tuesday afternoon!

Is her gig on Faux Noise that good that she would put up with her boss favoring an outsider over her, an employee?

Honestly (and yes, I know the answer - it’s a rhetorical question), this has become a hostile work environment for her. This is serious harassment that her boss has acquiesced to, which means she is on her own and any one else can attack her for any reason and say, ‘Well, Trump did it and got away with it’. Precedent. And not a pretty one.

And no, this isn’t being politically correct on my part. This was just plain awful.

Exactly. Instead he has Fox tossing her fully under the bus as they grovel to have him stop waging war on them. If the source in Josh’s piece is to be believed, she is receiving death threats from Fox viewers now. Ailes apparently is so desperate to get Trump back on board, that he may even promise to follow through on those from Trump.

Journalizing professionally?

I’m hoping Ailes tells her to apologize or else. That would be funny. I bet that woman could write quite the tell-all book.

Kelly responded on her program Monday night that she wouldn’t apologize for “doing good journalism.”

Don’t worry about it, Megyn. You have nothing to apologize for.

This here is Trump’s nomination to lose now, folks. Everyone else is fish wrap. He will suck all the oxygen out of the room for the next year, and with FOX News at his back, he doesn’t have to give a crap about the repercussions from anything that comes out of his mouth. It’s just going to keep getting crazier.

Secretary of the Interior. You know, interiors. Like vaginas and rectums and stuff.

As if any thinking person needed further confirmation, this puts the ultimate lie to any claim by Fox to “fair & balanced” reporting and to any manner of journalistic integrity. Any and all future debates moderated by Faux News personalities will truly represent nothing more than a clown circus.

Wow Eustace — Somebody must of stuck a dime into the nickel slot ! – Good one !

Careful, that GOP foie gras will clog your arteries right quick.

AN IOWA SCRIPT

A Wednesday phone call:

“Scottie, can you fly in to Wichita after your Thursday afternoon rally in Council Bluffs? We’ll have the limo to the hotel waiting for you at the flight center at 7.”

Thursday, at 7:00 at Wichita flight center owned by the Kochs. Charles and David are both there to welcome Scottie as he deplanes from his short-hop charter: “We thought we’d come on out so you can fly out tonight for your appearances tomorrow, rather than stay over. Let’s go visit in the lounge. We’ve brought dinner.”

It’s now about 7:55 In the Jet Center after a meal of pulled-pork sandwiches:

Kochs: “Scottie, we’ve got some bad news. We’re pulling our support for you and going with Donald. The ads will change focus tomorrow.”

Scottie: “But, but, but…wah…noooooh…why?”

David Koch: “I’m sorry Scottie, but the decision’s been made. You can stay over in one of the guest rooms tonight, or fly back to Madison, but it’s final. Our jet leaves in 5 minute for our flight back to NYC tonight. Good-bye, and good luck.”

8:10 - Whoosh…to the tune of “Leavin’ on a Jet Plane”…

L’fox c’est Donald!

Me too, my friend.

But methinks that the Trump phenomenon is educating Americans (those not completely brain-dead) that much more as to the nature of social position, money and their intersection with what’s left of “news”.

Kelly may think she will benefit from her new status as a “journalist,” but she’s played right into the hands of a master manipulator who holds deep grudges. His minions will stalk her every move and when the most opportune time comes, hit back hard and decisively.

Her days as a happy and harpy Murdock bimbo are numbered.

She probably thinks everything will just die down. But as that stadium full of old white conservatives males roared with laughter at Trump’s jab at Rosie O’Donnell, she should have felt a cold chill go down her back. She’s stumbled into a whole new world of Top 1% abuse and punishment. She will never know civility and peace again.

Meanwhile, “The Feud” plays right into Trump’s hands. The rest of the GOP presidential field might as well be on vacation for all the attention the MSM will give them from now until the next debate. They will limp along like lemmings wasting their time trying to appear irrelevant.

Those that stick their heads out of the safety of the rat holes they will be forced to hide in will face a backlash from the GOP’s Far Right base if they dare to comment on anything Trump does or says…anything. The Donald is keeping a list and checking it twice regularly to see who is being naughty and nice to him.

More than any candidate in memory, Trump is a Rorschach test for voters: if you are id-driven and utterly lacking in super ego, you will support Donald Trump like there’s no tomorrow, for in him you see a soul mate, however soul-less he may be. If you have a healthy super ego in balance with your id and ego, you will be supporting the other guy/gal, whoever they may be.

Not that we needed it, but this will be the tell for just what drives the modern Republican. Should be very funny, and rather sad, to observe.

Faux News has always been a freak show. It’s now an official one.

The RNC and Murdock both had to capitulate to Trump. Their viewers must have been wondering what all the flack was about Trump insulting one of Ailes’ bimbos. She was “acting” like a Liberal for heaven’s sakes.

But the act didn’t fool one Independent voter. It’s too late for the GOP and Faux News to cross back over the bridges they’ve burned with everyone including the Far Right.
