Let’s make a few minor changes to Peters’ quote to make the statement more truthful:
Republicans are willing to give up the President of the United States. Let’s face it: If President Obama disappeared from the face of the Earth tomorrow, Republicans would not shed a tear.
Personally, I find the Republican’s behavior toward the President far more offensive than President Obama’s supposed (although untrue) ambivalence towards the foreign nation of Israel.

How strange that even in his disgraceful speech yesterday, Netanyahu spent the first minutes thanking President Obama for the times he came to Israel’s aid, times, he noted, that we don’t even know about. But this chucklehead knows better, I guess.

Why does TPM simply accept that this guy is an “analyst.” He’s not. He couldn’t analyze the Sunday funny page. I don’t give a fuck what “credentials” and “qualifications” he claims to have. If what he’s DOING is not analysis, then don’t fucking call him an “analyst,” no matter what Faux tries to brand him as. He’s a “partisan shill” or “bloviating demagogue” or a hundred other things, but none of what he says or does involves anything even remotely resembling “analysis.” Language matters.
