Discussion: Fox Panelist: Maybe 'Say Yes To The Dress' Fans Shouldn't Vote

Discussion for article #228361

Conservatives are always looking for ways to eliminate more voters.

There is a lot of this kind of bullshit being thrown around, this or that kind of person “should not be allowed to vote.”

The one I keep hearing from Conservofascists is that public employees were somehow never intended to have the vote because we are inherently socialist, or something. As a public college webmaster, just let me say that if anyone tries to take away our right to vote, it won’t be without consequences.

One of the all time greatest examples of projection I have ever witnessed:

“I don’t think as a general matter we should be encouraging people who don’t know anything about what they’re voting for to vote, that’s what Democrats do,” Carlson said later. “Republicans shouldn’t follow suit on that. You shouldn’t pander to people.”

Low information old white Fox News viewers, who constantly vote against their own interests, are the bread and butter of the GOP and the people Republicans pander to.

Tucker, if someone (woman OR man) is a Bagger she/he should not vote.

The difference between myself and an actual Bagger is this: The above represents a preference. Baggers operationalize their preferences with actual obstruction of their opponents voting.

But, but, but,… what about the Constitution!!!

When your ideas are failures and the only resort is stopping people from voting, you are circling the drain. Keep it up, GOP.

““I don’t think as a general matter we should be encouraging people who don’t know anything about what they’re voting for to vote, that’s what Democrats do,””

And, since the Teatroll Rosetta Stone says “not voting for us means you don’t know anything about what you’re voting for”…

Also too, something something “minorities don’t know anything about what they’re voting for.”

Someone from TPM should send Carlson the studies that show Faux viewers, more than any other demographic group defined by whether they watch the news and what sources they use, don’t know shit from shinola about what they’re voting for.

Well, at least the 1st and 4th are okay, but only when applied to conservatives.

Oh, Tuck, me laddo, you still haven’t figured it out. You’re still so deeply embedded in your ideology that you haven’t figured out that we know that the GOP panders to us and you’re right about one thing- you should be telling us what your candidates believe in. The problem is that they believe in one thing in the Primary and another in the General. They support Personhood Amendments when pandering to the likes of you and then run away from it the second they have to appeal to a wider audience.

I can’t help but think that you haven’t got a bleeding clue what ‘pandering’ means.

If the vast majority of Republican voters were actually well educated, well informed and capable of critical thought, that odious cult of a political party would be a distant memory, a scrap on the trash heap of history___a place it has certainly earned and well deserves.

Shoot- you could say that about pretty much all of 'em.

Maybe people who think it was a clever ad shouldn’t vote. Maybe pandering dimwits who have absolutely nothing to offer the people they’re desperately trying to draw into their party shouldn’t vote. Just maybe.

FOX News Conservatives “Man-splaining” to the “wimmin-folk” about why women are just too airheaded to be allowed to vote. According to them we should just repeal the 19th and 13th Amendments. That way only White Males (you know, “Real Americans”) would be allowed to vote.
Yeah. That will go over really well…

Tucker doesn’t know anything either and he votes. At least the young women are paying enough attention to fashion that they could have told him bow ties were not a good look for him. Look how long it took him to wake up to that.

Come on Tucker, we know you want to spank them.
