Discussion: Fox Panel: We Don't Regulate Cars! Why Should We Regulate Guns? (VIDEO)

Trump:I agree with this logic. When I become president, Cars will not need to have insurance because Guns dont have to. You will all get tax break(no car insurance) because of Guns.

I volunteer. Once upon a time, I had a decent forehand. Can I use a tennis raquet?

They have to be careful, no one else will hire them. Some guy wrote for an online magazine that he had to strike Fox News off his resume and make up a reason he was out of work during that time because no one would hire him because he worked there.

Do these morons EVER listen to what comes out of their mouths?

What the hell do you say to these people? “No, sweetie, the sky really is blue. Here (opens window curtains), see?” Oh, come on, people. Seriously, people, I know you cannot be that fucking stupid – AND I can’t believe the majority of your audience (who have ever owned a vehicle) would seriously believe you. New York City, you know, where your studios are located, is one of the most vehicle-regulated places on earth.

What a waste of airwaves.

WTF! cars are so heavily regulated in this country; what are they talking about? to drive a car you need to pass a written and a road test, and then you get a license with your name and address and age on it;
the car itself has to have a registration and license number and renewed every year and pass smog tests;
how do they get away with such nonsense on national tv?

I wouldn’t bet on that.

Because Faux News’ target audience considers a wheel-less '79 Chevy Nova with makeshift wooden bumpers propped up on cinder blocks to be status symbol “lawn art.”

After some back-and-forth among the “Outnumbered” panelists, Falkner
returned to Robertson’s point about cars, saying “more people have cars
than have guns.”

“Are we going to take away everything that people use to kill each
other?” Faulkner asked. “Because we’re really going to have to start
with the basics, like vehicles.”
“Swimming pools!” co-host Andrea Tantaros interjected.
…
Firstly I do hope the inhabitants of the program “outnumbered” are indeed OUTNUMBERED. Secondly it looks like Andrea Tantaros is in fine, in her usual insane, form.
I guess the Fox crew won’t be happy until every family in America has a bloody tragedy to speak about. We regulate all sorts of things so they don’t hurt us from air we breathe to food we eat and drugs we take. Kids these days use aluminum bats when they play baseball so they don’t get killed by bat shards zooming around the diamond. For sheer safety sake kids can’t drive in most states until they are 16 yrs old. And they have to get a “learners permit” first (In Ohio they do as I recall). Why not a learners permit for a gun? What is so goddam sacred about firearms? even the 2nd amendment says arms should be possessed in conjunction with service in a “well regulated” militia. So even the Constitution states the militia should be regulated.

I guess we just can’t fix stupid.

Don’t let andrea near a swimming pool!

“until guns are revoked,”

And tomorrow, these puerile imbeciles will be discussing why English should be the national language when they can’t even fucking speak it.

Yes, please, revoke my gun…whatever the fuck that even means.

I believe that. When I lived in San Francisco, I knew two people who worked for Channel 2, the FOX affiliate in Oakland–once a fantastic source of relevant, in-depth, reliable news–and after FOX Entertainment took over their news department and the 9/11 events played out over a few years, same thing.

Because they are an “entertainment” network as was proven in court. That means they can lie with impunity.

Simple solution: Make getting a gun as difficult as getting an abortion.

That has to be one of the few recorded instances in history when the inclusion of a Duck Dynasty cast member elevated the average IQ of the assembled persons.

Even in states that don’t require an inspection there are laws that require vehicles be maintained to certain standards. For instance, windshields, tail lights, mirrors, exhaust, etc. and there are laws that prohibit vehicles from having certain modifications like dark tint.

More than that, though, if you accidentally hit someone with your car and injure or kill them, you will most likely face criminal charges. Not so with a gun. A two year old can grab a gun someone left sitting in his playpen, kill his siblings, and the person who allowed him to get the gun won’t be charged with anything.

I’m happy to NOT regulate guns like we DON’T regulate cars. So, one should need to be of a certain age and pass a test to get a gun. The gun needs a license which needs renewal every few years. The gun needs to be registered with and ID number for this specific gun. Guns need safety devices (like air bags and seat belts).

(hands on hips) OH YES THEY CAN!!
There is no amount of stupid that Fox will not tolerate and consider a feature, not a bug. And there is more than ample evidence that GOP Presidential candidates have picked up on this and are mining it for all they are worth. In the case of Trump? He’s worth considerable. As he himself has said.
The right wing has devolved in to the abyss of total, abject, moronic, deliberate, wishful, epic stupidity (I’m out of abusive descriptive vocabulary now). I’m going for some bourbon to settle my nerves.

I don’t think women will take kindly to having to get semi-annual smog checks.
