The Trump echo chamber, that they want to believe, is louder than the Romney echo chamber was in 2012. Back then when the Romneyites lost, they couldn’t believe it and were astounded. It is my hope the Trumpsters will suffer the same fate.

These online polls accurately depict what we all know to be true - the “official” polls are skewed in favor of Crooked Hillary.

It doesn’t matter. Meaningless tweaking of such a phony, hateful product is too late. The damage to and dumbing down of American society has already been done.
Moreover, the 24/7 promotion of Herr Coir Coif has unleashed a genie of hate, misogyny, xenophobia, etc. (the list is nearly endless). The legitimation of such abhorrent behaviors by FOX et al. is complete and that genie can not suddenly be put back in the bottle.
Indeed, if Drumpf loses the election these now-mainstreamed “GOP values” will only get worse. This country is saddled with these evils well into the foreseeable future. There is no going back.

Their viewership went UP after the “Romney will win in a LANDSLIDE!” debacle.
Why would it be any different this time?
Their target audience only stops watching them by DYING.
They WANT to be lied to. They feel safer after getting their daily “rage hit” and then falling to sleep wrapped in the warm comfortable blanket of their reinforced bigotries.

Frankly, I’m delighted that Trump thinks he won the debate. Those who are trying to prep him for the next one will now find him even more impossible to deal with. He’s just going to double down on everything because, in his fevered imagination, it worked so well the first time. As long as he keeps solidifying his base without doing anything more than that, he’s never going to crack the ceiling.

I want all of them convinced that he won or close - that he would have if he had gone on to throw Bill’s infidelities in her face.
I want him to double down. I don’t think there is any such thing as HO doing debate prep - I don’t think he is able to from what I have read. So I want to see him double down on all of the mistakes he made in the first debate and to make a bunch of new ones he thinks up just for the 2d one.
Of course any half competent journalist has known that web site polls were worthless for at least the last 10 years. They have no excuse. It just comes naturally to a propagandist.
