Discussion for article #223582
Even if true (and consider the source here), the Stockholm Syndrome is well-documented. I think everyone would do well to chill out and let the relevant lawful processes unfurl.
yeah right.like the trump guys looking for that elusive birth certifacte in a far away land.
And the proof of the existence of these “secret” documents is the fact that no one has seen them. Oooh, the conspiracy runs deep!
I don’t care what he did in captivity. We don’t leave Americans behind. Any “conservative” arguing otherwise has no business calling themselves a patriot.
Citing “secret documents prepared on the basis of a purported eyewitness account,” is all I need to read about this account
I didn’t get too far past the word “Fox.”
Oh, man! Just wait until Fox News hears about this McCain fellow that totally sold out to the Vietcong and infiltrated the US Government as a sleeper agent. Secret documents confirm it! Sources say! Purported eye witnesses purportedly provide purported proof!
So they let him carry a gun, then he converted to Islam, then he escaped for 5 days and then was kept in a cage like an animal?
Makes FOX news sense to me.
Pssstttt…Secret Documents that Faux knows about but no one else does
becuz you see…they’re secret.
The report came from The Eclipse Group:
“The group is run by Duane R. (“Dewey”) Clarridge, a former senior operations officer for the Central Intelligence Agency in the 1980s best known for having been indicted for lying to Congress about his role in the tangled set of events that became known as the Iran-Contra scandal. He was pardoned by the first President Bush in December 1992 while on trial.”
I don’t see how this helps the right wing’s claims against Bowe.
In fact, it makes me feel sorrier for him.
Read it closely. What it says is: the documents were written based on what somebody told us they saw! Now by damn, that’s journalism at it’s best!
Try saying that three times fast after drinking a glass of water!
Yeah…it’s a secret for the military as well…leave it to FIXEDNOISE.
“According to hearsay accounts in secret documents we can’t show you . . .!”
I hope they have the name of the law firm that negotiated the hasty settlement of the sexual harassment case against O’Reilly on speed dial.
That’s exactly right – I don’t care what he did in captivity. He could have been filmed crapping on a picture of George Washington, and he would still be an American serviceman who should be brought home. What on earth are these Republican imbeciles thinking?
I’m saying. Talk about a jumble of bullshit passed off as reporting. Far more like a PR spin factory than anything resembling a news organization. He’s a traitor, who deserted both the US military and the Taliban (for 5 days anyway). None of these “facts” are attributed to a source, and by the time they are debunked, or made irrelevant, the core audience for this BS will already have the t-shirt.
If Bergdahl became a secret warrior he didn’t do a good job of it by trying to escape twice and at the end being treated like a prisoner of war. So, why would he try to escape if he was a secret warrior for Islam?? Sounds like the same conspiracy theorist that said President Obama was born in Kenya.
