So in about 15 months he’ll be out “for good behavior” and Faux will double his fees because now he’ll be an “expert” on the US prison system… LOL, yea an “expert” after he has spent his time at a Federal white collar crime vacation spa…

Fordecades, Wayne Simmons told the world he was a CIA man. And he
benefited from the connection: It helped him talk his way out of an
assault charge. It helped him get contracting work. It allowed him to
knock more than $400,000 off a delinquent tax bill. And it helped him
get on cable news as a pundit and commentator.

But it was all, in the words of U.S. Senior Judge T.S. Ellis III, "buffalo chips."

…and yet he is still more honorable and trustworthy than anyone he left behind at FOX.

I’m sure Faux Noose will be leading off their 6 o’clock hour of news with this tidbit about their “experts”.

Yeah, right.

Yeah, these bozos get sent to country club fed prisons. But the good news is that this fraud got exposed and sent to the jug. I despise anyone who fraudulently claims military or CIA or intel experience. And I find them pathetic.

Fox News checks prospective employees resumes for inaccuracies and, finding them, congratulates the applicants and offers them a job. Little do the prospects know that “credible lying” is in demand as a Fox News job skill.

“… he called House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi “a pathological liar”…”

OK…now we know what that’s worth.

Sometimes the jokes just write themselves, don’t they? Especially when a joker like this guy says them.

Moral of the story: Don’t piss off Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch. Even the patriotic Wayne Simmons could not avoid jail.

All Wayne did was smooth talk, con some people and tell some people what they wanted to hear. I think it was all win-win for everyone. I think there is nothing in the First Amendment against lying. The RobertsSupreme Court just said taking suitcases of money, Rolexes, Ferraris and vacations and stealing from the Governor’s mansion is not a crime. I wonder whether Wayne Simmons is religious and conservative enough to qualify for the Roberts pass on high crimes as Bob McDonnell.

Gretchen Carlson should be prepared to wear orange if she is going to take on Roger Ailes.

So will he still work for Fox?

After all, none of this is a disqualifier for that propaganda outfit.

Did Fox News accept responsibility?

If only it were a federal case. Feds are required to serve 80% of time sentenced, so he’d do 30 months minimum. But alas.

The big question now is whether he’ll share agents with Bernie Kerik.

A lying con artist on FOX “News”? Do tell…

I wonder if any Democrat of any stature will use this to attack Fox’s credibility as anything other than the GOP’s version of Pravda.

Naaaahhh, that would be too much work.

The one thing I don’t get about this affair, which I’ve followed from the beginning, is that Neil Cavuto did a segment where he accepted total responsibility and literally said that the fact that this guy was a fraud was all on him (Cavuto). Then he just went on to the next segment and never brought it up again.

See, conservatives know that when stuff like this happens they’re supposed to SAY “I take full responsibility” but they never take any actions that come with that, such as resigning or getting fired or moved to shittier time slot.

This is out-RAGEOUS! Besmirching the the name of the legend who went by the fearsome nome de guerre “Secret Squirrel”. This must never leave this site but Operation New England was the clam bake Where Poppy Bush and ‘Car Bomb’ Casey hashed out how to let the hostages rot in Tehran so that President Hair Dye could grab his finest acting role in what he thought was the sequel to Bedtime for Bonzo. Well, those of us ‘in the know’ figured out he is off on another super secret mission to find out what is in that ‘discipline loaf’ everyone is talking about.

PS: That dirt-bag Morocco Mole was the one that ratted him to the Feds … that Fez sniffing shortsighted runt.

???Why? Seems more likely to me she is telling the truth, how can he nail her on anything?

There are in fact laws that pertain to fraud, and benefiting financially from lying. That’s why this guy did.

…Simmons’ refusal to admit his CIA career was a lie clearly irked prosecutors…

He’s a winger—their entire universe is a lie. It’s the reason they are filled with rage: they are utterly full of shit and they are supremely bitter that the rest of us are finding out about it in droves.

Lack of principle, lack of morals, lack of spine: these are some of the things that make you angry, bitter and willing to project the rage you feel (because you are a fraud) onto others: Hispanics, Muslims, blacks, gays… you have to project because you are such a fraud.

Fox contributor and Iran-Contra co-conspirator Ollie North ought to be sharing a cell with him. Judith “Aluminum tubes” Miller can be housed in the woman’s wing.
