I spent some time the other day just watching 10 minute segments of different shows on FOX during the evening. I really can’t believe how far they’ve spiraled into an alternate reality within the last year or so, presumably taking their adherents along with them.
It’s all fear, ridicule Obama, fear, Islamophobia, fear, fear, Russia threat, fear, American impotence, Ebola, fear, fear, fear, African-American threat, fear, American humiliation, disgust and fear, general anger at Obama, anger at the loss of rights and fear.
It’s not getting better, folks.
This madness is downright scary and it’s all being manufactured by the moneyed interests.
We’ve got a hell of a fight ahead of us and we better get started soon.

We are well into that fight.
Fact being that once the gerrymandering of 2010 proved a success–
and the shifting demographics became clear?
The Party-of-No!
The dragging-of-legislative-heels.
Voter suppression.
And-- a scorched-Earth-attitude toward ‘others’.
Became an ossified set of noveau-Southern-strategies for (R)s.
They have limited time politically to tear-down everybody’s efforts and legacies before a righteous repeal of ingrained White Privilege occurs.
(R)s are simply hoping that their kleptocratic devices and oligarchical masters
can stave off the (D)-dark-hordes long enough-- to bankrupt as many state governments as possible–
and hamstring as many federal social-safety-net programs as is possible–
before their fate becomes reality.
It’s going to get much nastier.

I checked it out on Twitter. One conservative spouting the talking points and the rest (as the Brtis say) taking the piss out of Fox News and neo-conservatism/tea baggers.
My first thought was also about their aging demographic and technology use. Not well thought out, folks!
