Usually Trump projects the opposite of what he does on to someone else. In this case he says democrats are behind the caravans. What if it is really republicans who are behind the caravans by Trump motivating and in cases actually challenging these refugees to come to the US. The caravans coming at this time benefits Trump at a time when he needs to motivate his base. What more of a motivation than caravans of refugees traveling to the US?? Just saying.
Chris is now in his 70s. Perhaps he hears his father talking to him from the Great Beyond. Mike would have been all over this garbage.
FWIW, one of my favorite follows on Twitter is Dan Rather. He really got screwed over.

Agree. He and his producer foolishly stepped into a carefully prepared trap and land mine. One would think that he was smarter. If he wasn’t as egotistical as he was then, he would have avoided it.
Wallace acts like something being preposterous won’t be put out by the rest of Fox as the new “truth” of the day. Preposterous has never stopped them before.
I applaud that Chris Wallace has the guts to say this to Trump.
But… unless it is now the Fox News Corp policy to put sanity over profit and to disagree with Trump every chance they get it is not going to make much of a difference. They can’t just be in opposition to him on the outlying issues. They need to actively look for ways to tell him he is full of shit. Trump is a Narcissist with a capital N. He feeds on the attention like a junkie on heroin. If one story in the news cycle draws ridicule he will just go to further extreems on his next issue until he gets the attention he craves.
If Fox really wants to sour the milk that is giving Trump sustenance they can’t just use an occasional lemon of a story. They will need to go full Monty Python on his ass and start ridiculing him every chance they get.
Trump is a Narcissist. This is a personality disorder. It is not a mental illness. He is not going to get better. The best we can hope for is that the media with the mega audience pools quit feeding his addiction.

They were not as alert as they should have been, but this was near the beginning of that kind of O’Keefe-type trap, and I really don’t think they had any idea how it was going to go. The world changed radically in a relatively short time and some Old News people ended up sidelined. Rather has always had a strong ego. No one else had the nerve to stand up to Nixon in a press conference the way he did, and that ego was why. And then he’s just had weird stuff. (What’s the frequency, Kenneth?)
How nice of Chris Wallace but with Trump still monopolizing all the coverage, the Dems look to be once again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
People need to be reminded, over and over in simple terms, what Dems stand for in regards to comprehensive immigration reform, improving the ACA and a host of other issues. How in the world did Dems let the Repubs make Kavanaugh an issue that has so excited their base??? Who thinks abolishing ICE is a sound policy response to what has been going on??? Just letting Trump be Trump hasn’t worked yet and the Repubs are once again running circles around the Dem machine.

Immigration? In Michigan, not something being discussed, because the more pressing issues are health care and infrastructure (Flint’s water problems are spreading to other, older communities, and the roads are a mess all over the state), and PUBLIC school education funding.
This isn’t a national election, as much as that disgusting grifter tries to make it one.
It is not a campaign issue even here in this border state, New Mexico. Everyone is campaigning on healthcare, jobs and education. And hanging onto the national lands that the federal government keeps eyeing.
