Got to play pretend and feign outrage in order to maintain the outward veneer of a journalistic operation.
But providing questions and scripts in advance is a journalistic breach, and should be absolutely out of bounds.
We’re talking about Fox, Nothing is out of bounds. You can’t breach your journalistic integrity if you have none.
The entire network is a breach on humanity.
Fox News: manufacturing only the finest in Faux News.
Spare us, Howie.
A journalistic breach. And the ocean is damp.
And if FOX was guilty of performing journalism, this might actually mean something.
DUH…
Fox News IS a journalistic breach
Howard Kurtz is a world class twit with a tremendous grasp of the obvious. His move to FOX was a marriage made in heaven - his job is to provide cover and create the illusion of media scrutiny when in reality he collects a big paycheck for doing as close to nothing as anyone else on the air - and he has enormous competition for that role.
This is coming from the FOXHOLE, better known as a Latrine!
Ah come on Josh!
You’ve had your little joke for the day.

Fox News host Howard Kurtz called his network’s practice of giving former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt advance knowledge of questions he’d be asked in interviews, along with at least one instance of script approval, a “journalistic breach” Sunday.
Seemingly left unremarked upon is the near certainty what was done for Pruitt was done for dozens and dozens of other administration officials serving under a succession of Republican Presidents, and persons interviewed in opposition to Democrats when Republicans were not in the White House. This is no damned one-off, it's standard practice.
Just a reminder that in Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu may be indicted for providing regulatory benefits in exchange for positive media coverage from the beneficiary. If only we had that lever to mitigate Fox’s propaganda and the damage it causes.
You think just because this is the first time FOX got caught that it is the first time they do this? You think Sean Hannity does not do this for all his softball BJ interviews of Trump? You think every single FOX person outside of Chris Wallace does not do this routinely? You think Rupert Murdoch has not been doing this since he ran his crappy, sports, bikini babes and right wing politics newspapers in Australia?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Howard Kurtz, the Captain Louie Renault of journalist watchdogs.
The only surprise is that Fox News claims to have journalistic standards.
This is likely a warning to not be so obvious about it in the future. Anyone who believes they do not consistently do it and will continue to do it hasn’t been paying attention.
This is like someone who works at a restaurant that specializes in serving people dishes of pure e coli complaining that someone was given a dirty fork.
