So if Williams made a “dumb-ass error”, what would Ailes call O’Reilly’s serial lies that span five decades since he first claimed to have had a Mets tryout with Tom Seaver? Oh Yeah, Ailes has equated journalistic integrity with winning ratings. Like if Hitler had won the war and was still alive he too could be a Fox News anchor by virtue of his high win rate.

Lying is a job requirement at Fox, so why wouldn’t he bring back a confessed liar?
Mr. Ailes and Mr. Williams have the same tortured relationship with the truth. He’d fit right in with all the other lying liars at Fox Noise.
I’m sure Brian is just thrilled getting this kind of support. In other words, Mr. Ailes thinks
Mr. Williams, who was fired (or at least gently suspended) for embellishing the truth about his
career, is perfectly qualified to join Bill O’, whose lengthy penchant for doing exactly the same
thing is very well documented.
In fact, I think Bill O’ got a Peabody for it right? Or was it a Polk.
