Itâs not like the folks at Faux News think all black women look alike or anything.
I guess we can be happy they didnât mistakenly use a photo of Omarosa.
To Fax News all bla people look alike
I didnât expect anything more from them.
I can understand Foxâs mistake, given their level of economic anxiety.
We always knew that Fox News was striving for entertainment and not respected journalism, but they canât even get the entertainment part accurate. Itâs an organization of fakes!
FIFY
No! Labelle Survived!
You DONâT think they DO?
Our intention was to honor the icon using a secondary image of her performing with Patti LaBelle in the full screen graphic, but the image of Ms. Franklin was obscured in that process, which we deeply regret.
So the story is that they were using something âArethaandPatti.jpgâ but mistakenly used another image âPatti.jpgâ instead? In what way could the âimage of Ms. Franklinâ be âobscuredâ in that way? The excuse doesnât even make sense â let alone the fact that no one caught the obvious error.
Itâs just that they love America so much.
Fox doesnât even know to whom to send their âwarmest best wishesâ. Thatâs what happens when youâre a ânewsâ station.
At least that would have been understandable, because Omarosa is the Queen of Donaldâs soul.
now, lets be fair⌠the folks at FOX NEWs donât actually know anyone who is black. They have probably never talked to a black person (that Sheriff Clarke dude does not count, and they stopped having Micheal Steel on a long time ago). How are they supposed to tell who is who?
or a pic of Michelle Obama.
Hell, FauxNews thinks all non-white folks look alike.
Edit: Glad to see really great coverage of the Queen of Soul (and Gospel), despite Fox and Trump pathetic attempts.
DBeast had a lame bit about the Diva contest of 1998, but good singing all around
DB made up for it in a separate article with a great AF gospel number. Put it on loud while while making dinner, and come to Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=52&v=Wg5PZtSTTN4
Please tell me this is something from The Onion.
âOur intention was to Not be racist, but we found that difficult.â
My first reaction to that bs explanation was Yeah, riiiiiiiight.
âOur intention was to honor the icon using a secondary image of her performing with Patti LaBelle in the full screen graphic, but the image of Ms. Franklin was obscured in that process, which we deeply regret,â
Except LaBelle and Franklin NEVER PERFORMED TOGETHER AT THAT WHITE HOUSE EVENT. THEY PERFORMED SEPARATELY SO THERE WAS NO IMAGE OF FRANKLIN TO BE OBSCURED.
Fox News lies even when theyâre apologizing for lying. Scum.
