Discussion: Fox Host: Tweeting Racist, Fake Photo Was A 'Mistake,' But I Was Still Right

Discussion for article #231661

Not the first time he’s admitted to being wrong. Charles tell us about your “pump and dump” settlement with the SEC?

Those were fights that underscored basic human dignity," Payne said. “I mean, we’re talking about where a person could sit on a bus or being illegal to eat in a certain area or certain public restaurants.”

He went on to say, “this is just about police killing black people at a disproportionate rate. That’s not a basic human dignity! Now, where can I find some more doctored photos of African Americans fighting over fried chicken, so you can understand what I mean???”

"Listen, it was a mistake on my part, the picture. But everything I said was right," Payne said on his show "Making Money."

Shades of Judith “I was fucking right” Miller.

The role of the media in Iraq is an entirely different story from Vietnam. We’ve gone from Walter Cronkite giving a straight account of “the way it is” to Field Marshal Judith Miller insisting “I was fucking right.” We might have avoided this quagmire had it not been for Miller’s active participation in this well-orchestrated campaign of mass deception.

Curiously enough, both Payne and Miller were fucking wrong.

He is still lying. He claimed that the image was not photoshopped. It was.

You may fool me once or you may fool me twice but I’m Fox’s Black Fool everyday.

So, if we run a story with a photo shopped picture of Charles Payne naked, snorting cocaine and having intimate relations with a duck … we can ultimately just acknowledge that the photo was a fake … but then insist that the central thoughts & concerns are entirely valid - because drug abuse is an issue that afflicts a number of individuals and it is a subject that should be discussed…

Hoist on his own canard. It works in English and in French!

He (Payne) also suggested that there were people “behind the scenes” unconnected to the larger “#blacklivesmatter” protest movement who were using the brunch stunt to push an alternate agenda.

Payne then began an analogy to Fox News when his mic was unexpectedly cut off.

“alternate agenda”

When all else fails, refer the Faux News viewing audience to a vague, undefined but nefarious conspiracy that is and will do untold, but unspecified, damage to unidentified people.

I wonder if they cry for their own souls or just laugh at the money they’re getting when this clown gets together with Mia Love, Clarence Thomas, Alan West and Ben Carson for their weekly lunches.

So name the so-called rich person allegedly pulling the strings…or is that just another thing “some people say” on Fox?

“somewhere” “some people” are Fox reliable sources…

Oh, you’ve always been “right”, Major Payne, you’ve just never been CORRECT…

No crying for their souls goes on there; those lunches are no doubt salted with the bitterness of the unappreciated and falsely maligned. The money is only what is due for their sufferings.

One of the privileges of being Conservative: Even when you’re wrong, you’re right. This particular privilege is by far the one most often used/accessed by Conservatives.

Wasn’t being right, but posting an incorrect graphic what brought down Dan Rather?
