Discussion: Fox Host Stumps WSJ Reporter: Doesn't Trump 'Trade In Racism?' (VIDEO)

Of course Drumpf trades in racism, he just doesnā€™t pay the invoice or provide the goods.

Now that Roger isnā€™t there to fire them, the semi-sane employees at Faux seem to be finding their spines.

Racism is the Junk Bonds of the Trump political fortune.

Thank you Shep

Hit any Trump supporter who either believes that he isnā€™t a racist or that they support the candidate.

Put them on the spot

So Grimaldi was just outed for just being a stenographer, or covering his ass for access.

I heard Grimaldi on KQEDā€™s Forum a couple weeks ago. He doesnā€™t sound like heā€™s in the bag for Trump. Or at least he didnā€™t on that program. I wouldnā€™t really know from his writing because WSJ paywall.

edit: I listened to this and it gave me heartburn thinking whether the ā€œemailsā€ thing was a thing or not in terms of the election. Some of the callers were pretty frustrated at what they perceived the pandering to false equivalency.

Based on Hillaryā€™s move today, Iā€™m a lot more confident that she can put Trump on the defensive in a big way and defang this ongoing drip-drip about the ā€œdamn emailsā€

People who call in to those types of things are a different subset then the general electorate.

When Smith asked if Clintonā€™s attacks were more ā€œdocumentedā€ than Trumpā€™s, Grimaldi said that perhaps they were and that Trump ā€œtrades in hyperbole.ā€

Yes. They are. Including multiple court findings and judgments that found Trump acted like a racist in his refusing to rent to blacks and hispanics back in the day.

BTW, here is Clintonā€™s full Reno speech earlier today:

ā€œWell, Iā€™ll leave that up to the commentators to talk about whether he isā€ - says the ā€˜investigative journalistā€™.

Grimaldi is a Pulitzer prize winning investigative journalist (jack abramoff case) for Wapo and now WSJ. I just donā€™t get it, what does he think heā€™s protecting by not declaring DJT a racist or ā€œtrades in racismā€? Why is it so hard to accept that an openly racist candidate will still get 40-45% of the popular vote? Doesnā€™t he realize what country he lives in, that the presence or absence of melanin is still a big deal for just under half the country? But his evident discomfort hopefully will go viral.

Donā€™t watch cable news, but always enjoy a Shep Smith clip.

It could be that he just isnā€™t really comfortable in a live news setting, given heā€™s a print journalist. The live medium really does want you to go ā€œall inā€ on some POV and it seems like a failure if itā€™s any less than that.

Where in the world are they ever going to find a venue large enough to seat all the Profile in Courage Award nominees this year?

Posted this over on another thread. Hereā€™s the new Clinton ad that slams Trump over the ā€œalt-rightā€ connections in his campaign.
