Discussion for article #236254
I assume they were making a joke about Kenya, but with wingers, you never know.
That made no sense whatsoever…but then again, this IS FOX News the home of hypocrisy. After all, why are they not demanding that Ted Cruz not run for President given that he was born in Canada to a Cuban parent. He isn’t a real US citizen!
Kenya…Hawaii. Whatever.
Co-host Dana Perino…said when Bush was governor of Texas, he never would have responded the way current Gov. Greg Abbott (R) did.
Uh-huh. If Bush was still governor, and a Muslim-y sounding black soshulist President was a’fearin up all the good Texan RWNJ’s, Bush would not have thrown gas on that fire.
Yeah, I totally believe that.
another reminder of why the half hour news hour failed even on fox
They do NOT tell jokes on Fox News, Fox News IS a joke.
Conservative “humor” strikes again.
Hey! It’s Gutfield! The guy who can’t get a gig unless it’s with Fox!
It’s like their mothers only half-drowned them in the bathtub because they didn’t want them dead, just brain damaged.
Note that “The Five” does not refer to the number of panelists on the show, but rather to their collective average I.Q. TrueFact
Gutfield belittling the Texas nutters while repeating the Kenya horseshit is like a Bigfoot fanatic making fun of Loch Ness believers.
Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo! (I seem to be saying that a lot in regards to right wingnuts!)
I am going to take this opportunity to raise a question that has been puzzling me for some time.
Cruz is considered an American citizen because his mother was American, even though he was born in Canada. But if it had been the other way around, his father had been American and his mother Cuban, he would not. We don’t for example, extend American citizenship to countless babies born of American fathers in Vietnam and Europe after the respective wars there…because the mothers aren’t American.
In essence, we are saying that a woman’s womb is American property…regardless of the origin of the seeds planted there, or where the conception or birth takes place. When you think about it in that vein, it appears to be a very misogynistic policy. We are quite literally saying that the wombs of American women area American property, but the sperm of American men…meh, who cares?
Wow…I didn’t even catch that. But that’s an excellent point. Though, I wonder if the issue has more to do with war than with immigration.
My problem is the hypocrisy over the fact that Obama’s mother was an American, and even if she had given birth in Kenya, he would be an American Citizen…meanwhile they look at Ted Cruz and give him an automatic pass without questioning his citizenship despite being born in Canada.
What’s funny about that Kenyan crack? I mean, it didn’t involve poor or otherwise powerless people being harmed or generally shat upon by their betters, so how can anyone think it’s funny?
No, we are saying, from a legal standpoint, it’s easier to prove the woman gave birth as opposed to conducting DNA testing to prove dad is the dad. This is particularly true in that DNA wasn’t an option, so blood tests which aren’t really accurate other than for typing.
That derp is derp, but hurf durf.
I think this is what passes for “humor” on Fox.
Just how much cocaine do they use before the show??
