The Murdochâs control of Fox is in serious jeopardy. You canât run a publicly traded company as a family slush fund. The securities investigations are just beginning and soon the shareholders will start demanding to be heard.

So the current resident in chief made similar and worse statements and got elected and FNC asked what the big deal was and now non-resident in chiefs make similar and worse statements and they get the can? I guess this is progress, but thereâs still a thought out there that these statements can be made in the first place by anyone. Yes, heâs gotten the punishment and yes, he may pay for that statement long-term, but what in the world possesses anyone to think one can make such statements and just get away with it?

Wattersâ entire career is making pseudo-naughty and sophomorically unfunny attempted jokes about sex, race, and other supposedly taboo subjects that work fine for people who are actually funny. And unfortunately he has no sense of the limits he imagines himself to be pushing. Anyone with a damn lick of sense would have known that as the sidekick of the networkâs most valuable on-air personality who was recently forced off the air for sexual harassment, making an unfunny fellatio joke about Ivanka Trump might not be greeted with huzzahs. But being an obnoxious jerk bro is who he is, and itâs all he is. A sense of audience or proportion is asking too much. So heâs on vacation. I imagine the number of warnings like this he gets is a number between one and none.
