He flipped because it put him in a better position to advance himself in American politics. It was a selfish move.

But Wallace isn’t stupid. He knows the only way to dig Ribio out of the mess he put himself in ( and that is all Wallace is doing ) is to let Rubio do so under “tough questioning”. Its the credibility scam. Rubio made the flip for Ribio. Wallace did the “tough” interview for the same.

His political career is over.

Not just because of his positions but because he’s going bald. Not even Rogaine can save him.

Rubio has pretty much proven he is not a leader. Just another wishy, washy pandering, slave to the extreme right. Defiantly not presidential material.

Because, Cubanos still get extra secret sauce status when escaping from their oppressors, while refugees from just about anywhere else, can go F’ themselves. Perhaps if the migrants from central America, used inner tubes lashed together and crossed into Key West, he’d sing a different tune.

Yeh, he was pretty. Now that’s going south and he has nothing else to offer the base.

The young man is getting better at lying with a straight face. Of course this is politics and bad politics besides. He is just trying to polish his bona fides with the ‘NO’ crown. Nothing more and nothing less.

Exactly RichardinJax. These were hardly tough questions let alone a “grilling,” but even TPM played into that narrative.

The man is a hack.

Period.

(I’m talking about Rubio here, not just Wallace)

This guy is such an empty suit. If it wasn’t so sad - it would be funny

There is definitely a way to get the votes for this in Congress, Marco… get the Republicans (that won’t support a change) the hell out.

Marco Rubio has about as much chance of becoming president as Michele Bachmann does… zero.

“When I got involved in the issue, I knew how difficult it was
politically, but I ran for office to make a difference,” [Rubio] responded.
“I didn’t get elected to maintain good poll numbers nationally.”

translation

When I got involved in scapegoating undocumented immigrants, I accidentally implicated the dirt wage industrial complex. I didn’t get elected to fine and or imprison crook employers.

Such a hopeless issue for the GOP. Bush almost saved the Republicans from themselves on this issue, but he once again failed. If you’re unfamiliar with the numbers:

Percent of “non-white” voters in…

–2008: …14%
–2012; …28%.

As per the US Census: Percent of children who are “non-white”…

–14-17 years old: …44%
–Under age 5: …47%

If you look at the data, its pretty obvious the GOP is running out of white people. Romney received 61% of the white vote, yet lost the election 332-206.

That’s accurate.

FIFY, Marco. Now go practice your VP acceptance speech, because that’s the only one you’ll give while you’re in the GOP.

Rubio is as fucking stupid as Perry, maybe worse.
