LOL. There is a scene in the movie, āIn Harmās Wayā when John Wayne is sharing a bachelor pad with Burgess Meredith. Meredith says he is heading into the shower. Wayne stops for a moment and then starts taking off his tie and shirt, and then follows him in.
It has to be one of the most unambiguously gay moments in a war movie I have ever seen.

Iāve worked with some damned manly men ā former members of Special Forces, Marines, Army, bomber pilots, pro football, big time college football and wrestling, husbands and fathers all.
All were polite and respectful toward women.
