Dana Perino: Proof that FOX News is the last refuge of Stupid Blondes who will say and do anything for money.

Miss Perino has a problem distinguishing between “soft tutherism” and hard facts.

Liberal conspiracy theories? Not really.

I’m sure some “truthers” might be liberal, but that was always way more of an Alex Jones cultist thing and the type of speculation you hear from hardcore black hawk helicopter libertarian (“jet fuel doesn’t melt steal!”) types. Not exactly people you’d place on the left of the political spectrum.

Case in point: the Republican frontrunner is the one who is bringing this stuff up.

Cognitive dissonance is a bitch, isn’t it Perino?

Must be depressing making your living on insisting that your former bosses presidency wasn’t as disastrous at it seems.

They cling so hard to the narrative that Bush is above reproach on 911 because they know if people actually start to critically examine what happened and didn’t happen and what the administration did and didn’t do before and after, he will get some blame. Bush certainly is not behind 911, nor was it a huge governmental black flag conspiracy attack. It is a perfect example of a new administration assuming office and assuming they know and have answers for everything. In Bush’s world Iraq and Saddam were the cause of the world’s ills. Based on the declassified documents, it looks pretty clearly like his administration came in with the idea to start a war in Iraq and 911 gave them the excuse. I don’t believe they knew of or thought the 911 attacks would happen, but I damn sure believe they willfully ignored all the evidence because it didn’t fit into their pre-constructed narrative, and when it did, use it to their advantage.

That’s what Bush did, and people should be able to openly discuss that without being smeared as a lunatic. If Bush and his former cronies cannot take it, maybe they shouldn’t have done it.

@raincntry:
And the same people in defense of the Bush admin now that bring up the old “he kept us safe” canard, are the same people who deride all the insane big government Patriot Act and NSA shit that they now try to pin on Obama.

Just read this. We put out the welcome mat and turned on the porch light.

“I think it was a dismal weekend when you have liberal conspiracy theories being introduced by the Republican frontrunner,” she said on “The Five.”

It’s not “liberal conspiracy theory”, but rather, documented fact that Bush and his administration were inattentive and ignored warnings about Al-Qaeda.

So, apparently, it doesn’t matter that:

Bush was IN OFFICE AT THE TIME of 9/11.

Bush was IN OFFICE AT THE TIME when he was forewarned about Bin Laden.

Bush was IN OFFICE AT THE TIME when he was forewarned that going into Iraq would lead to total chaos in the Mideast.

Right now, actual facts are some form of “trutherism”. In this one case, I’m actually glad for Rump being in the race as he’s able to “go there” in a different route than a Dem could.

Much as I deplore this intellligence-insulting whitewash of the Bush team’s obsessions and plain failures to do their jobs, I still cling to the old-fashioned notion that even if a person is saying bad things you should mention her full name somewhere in an article about her—maybe on first reference. Just saying.

*“I think it was a dismal weekend when you have liberal conspiracy theories being introduced by the Republican frontrunner,” she said on “The Five.”

Even the left doesn’t do what Donald Trump does. Only the farthest right lunatics were truthers," she later added.*

How do we reconcile these two statements she made . She is making no sense at all.

Ahhh…so that’s the plan. Conflate Trump’s remarks with the 9/11 truthers ( they claim Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened ) who are considered cranks. Should work. It’s simple, avoids a lot of inconvenient facts and is reportable. When it comes to bullshit FOX puts out a first class product. This will be the talk all the MSM use by Friday.

Yeah, Perino is among the dumbest of all the blondes who report the ‘news’ be it on Fox or not. Yet, being the press secretary for GWB is fitting, he being a dummy himself.

Perino will go to her grave defending GWB and the indefensible, like keeping us safe AFTER the towers came down, the Pentagon was hit and thousands died. In their fantasy world, its almost like they believe GWB became President on 9/12/01!

FOX women are like a Trump fantasy lineup. Blonde, stupid, and will do anything for money.

What’s truly hilarious about all this is that they’re “pushing back” against a simple statement of fact…

George W. Bush was President of the United States of America on September 11, 2001.

Is that so hard? Trump really didn’t say anything beyond that.

It’s also funny that they’ve latched on to the “truther” meme. That is not at all what’s going on here, of course, and I don’t think you really want to go there, because now it’s a field day on laundry lists of the failings of the Bush administration on that day, leading up to that day, and the aftermath of that day.

And please, by all means let’s examine what the Clinton administration did during the transition to the Bush Presidential appointment by the Supreme Court; how they tried to impress on the Bush administration how dangerous Bin Laden was. And how Bush, Cheney, and his esteemed National Security Adviser completely failed to keep America safe when they had the opportunity.

This is not going to work out well for them.

Is it wrong that I’m smiling?

Gee, where are all the trolls?
