There are about 350 million people in America. Fox ‘News’ Channel’s most popular program draws ~2 million old, white and unemployed male viewers sitting around the house all day screaming at the TV.

2 million viewers out of 350 million- less than 0.5% of America’s population.

So who cares what Fox or their audience is babbling on about??? They are not a responsible news organization with journalists- they’re an entertainment factory whose ‘hosts’ are paid to spew utter nonsense and every time we click on a story and shake our heads in dismay we’re renewing their contracts.

Why lend them any credence whatsoever, beyond their major accomplishment of providing late-night TV comedian fodder…their frothing inanity and manufactured outrage should be met with either stony silence or howls of derisive laughter.

We need to stop paying them any notice whatsoever.

In other words, Obama’s allegiance is not truly to the US because he’s African and has a vendetta.
Because, ya know, he’s not really one of us.
This plays into the fears of the very people that said when Obama (first) got elected, he would enslave White people for payback.
Since that insanely crazy prediction that did not happen, they’ve now evolved into this notion that Obama is setting systems in place to destroy America for payback regarding slaves being bought from Africa. Because remember…he’s not really one of us… Everybody can SEE that, right?

The tragedy is not that Ablow says these things out loud, on TV.
The tragedy is he says these things. Out loud. On TV. And is not laughed off stage. And keeps his job.

The fringe used to be over there, not taken seriously.
They are now out front, happily accepted and welcomed as a reasonable partner in the GOP.

PS To the person that posted last night how annoying it is to have people point to race as the reason Obama is not accepted in Kentucky even though they have a Democratic governor:
First, race and political party are two different things

It’s instances like these that reinforce the notion that you keep trying to insist doesn’t exist.You want people to stop pointing to race? Then speak up loudly against instances like these instead of pretending this is not a real issue. I can assure you it is.
