Kennedy had a brokered convention? Do these guys know nothing about politics? That was one of the most famous races in history - first Teddy White “Making of the President” book and all.

Adlai Stevenson was last brokered convention. 1952

When I was a child I occasionally fantasized about a ‘fairy tale’ life. My imagination took me to all sorts of places, garnering fame and fortune… However, I kept my mouth closed about my ‘dreams’ because I knew they were not reality based. I grew up. These FOX people don’t know they are supposed to keep their traps shut and grow the hell up. Maybe medication would help?

i guess the etch can always be sketched. mitt could announce that there is no way in the world that he is running. and he might actually mean it at the time. then the sycophants come weaseling around him whispering, “gee, mitt, you are just so terrific and would make the bestest president.” and mitt thinks, “why, i certainly would”…
