I’m willing to be surprised, but I’m thinking that this derp-a-palooza will not involve that much in the way of internecine attacks. It will be wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, neck-vein-bulging, purple-faced, mouth-frothing, jaw-clenching Hillary and Obama bashing without letup. Given the various candidates’ chainsawing of reams of paper, “machine gun” cooking of bacon, macerating of cell phones, and the like, I’ll be disappointed if one of them, probably Cruz doesn’t grab some accelerant from out of his coat pocket and burn an effigy of Mrs. Clinton on stage

The character of this nation is not set or undermined by any politician or party. This country was built, has been defended, and stakes its continuing glory on each and every American. Republicans cannot win elections outside of gerrymandered and safe districts simply because your ideology, priorities, and politicians are incredibly unpopular. How do we know? All those years of Gingrich, Cheney and Bush nearly destroyed our country. So stop pushing this narrative that somehow the Democrats are ruining the country when in reality the Democrats embody most of our nation’s priorities at this moment in time.

The Clown Pageant is going to be glorious tonight. Trump must be psyched to finally get to win one instead of having to host and pay for one. Of course, the answers to political questions in the Miss USA pageant are probably, on the whole, more coherent and honest.
