Maybe he should have used his Facebook account to summon the Bundy Militia to his rescue.
well Sparky this is what happens when you have a heavily armed populace. The police have no idea if the person on the other side of the bathroom door is holding a gun.
“It was way overboard, a horrific abuse, an extremely improper abuse of force, given the nature of the alleged charge, the fact there were minors in the home — there was no reason for it.”
Now he knows how everyone else feels when they get a visit from the FBI.
As far as I can see the cops didn’t do anything that they normally don’t. What’s Marky crying about?
Open Carry Laws make guns legal in Utah. These guy now should understand that no one is exempt from being confronted with officials with a gun - when your own state says everyone can carry a gun.
This 'not in my house" crap - maybe he should have thought of that long ago when the State was rushing this into law.
I’m no gun devotee - but these guys need a taste of reality instead of sitting in an ivory tower believing their sh*t don’t stink.
Gee–sometimes guns are good. Sometimes guns are bad. I am soo confused by these folks. So, it is ok for someone to enter Starbucks with an assault rifle and shine a lazer sight on my chest, but only if they are not a gov’t agent excersizing their duty?
What is it? Guns good. Gov’t bad. So the badness of Gov’t trumps the goodness of guns? Help me, I live in a rational universe.
welcome to amerikkka… he should stop bitching. his daughter wasn’t shot; they didn’t blow away a disabled grandparent; or slaughter the family dog. i’d say if there was no bloodshed, he should be thankful.
“But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow you head clean off, you’ve gotta ask yourself a question: “Do I feel lucky?” Well, do ya, punk?”
Unless the Staties and Feds said the above or similar, it appears that the AG is crying wolf.
shorter Shurtleff : “I’m not black; why were they so mean?”
If they didn’t kill his dogs, he’s one of the lucky ones.
And you were unaware that this is SOP for the militarized police nowadays? You were the AG and you didn’t realize that this is happening to everyone?
Welcome to the New World, Bud. Everyone else gets the same treatment or worse, and you have no business complaining.
The shoes doesn’t fit well on the other foot?
No flash-bang in the baby crib either. He got off lucky.
Yet another example of the truth taught by the following riddle:
Q: What you call a Republican who’s in favor of prison reform?
A: A Republican who’s been in prison.
Complaining ? He probably reviewed cases where the police treated people less than professionally, and decided that there was no case for them to face. He’s reaping what he helped to sow.
Rules are supposed to be different for the important people than they are for the shit-caked peasants!
Really? Or should the answer be “A Republican who is currently in prison”?
BS Jfox - this wasn’t a search for guns or drugs - and the goon squad knew that. And they also knew the former AG was out of town and who the family members were. And it’s the same “the agents behaved properly” excuse.
This shit goes on all the time now in America. Sheriff departments are the worse.
I wonder if he had a problem with it before it happened to him?
