Discussion: Former Trump Biz Associate Felix Sater Meeting With Senate Intel Panel

And someone in the Trump camp says Donnie barely knew Sater and Sater was just a coffee boy in three…two…one…

Which Trump associate is going to be the one to finally break the whole collusion thing WIDE open?

There are so many possibilities…

You know, there are times when I really suspect that the goal of Grassley and the other Goopers on this committee and the House committee is simply to pump what information that those called before it (like Sater) actually have and/or what they are willing to share in order to pass that information on to the WH in order for them to assess what Mueller might have (or be about to get).

'Cause they (excluding the Dem minority) sure don’t want to do anything seriousabout the information.

I hope that committee members and staffers are wearing surgical masks and rubber gloves.

If I recall correctly Sater was, in fact, one of the first people Trump claimed to not really knowā€”ā€œIf he was in the room I wouldn’t know him,ā€ that sort of stuff. Because he knows people like Sater put him right in.

HEY SPELL CHECKER I’m not talking about someone named ā€œWaterā€ or ā€œLater.ā€ Sheesh.

In 2007, the New York Times revealed Sater’s past as a criminal and reported that Trump was in business with a man who had been accused of ā€œconspiring with the Mafia to launder money and defraud investors.ā€ Trump told the Times he knew nothing of Sater’s dark past. Though Sater departed Bayrock after the Times’ article, Trump’s organization brought him on board three years later, and Sater was wheeling and dealing, seeking projects for Trump and handing out Trump Organization business cards describing him as a ā€œsenior advisor to Donald Trump.ā€

In subsequent years, Trump issued conflicting statements about his relationship with Sater. In a 2011 deposition, Trump acknowledged that he used to speak to Sater ā€œfor a period of time.ā€ Yet in a 2013 deposition, Trump said, ā€œIf he were sitting in the room right now, I really wouldn’t know what he looked like.ā€

IIRC Sater has been quoted as saying that he and Trump would end up in prison.

My money’s on Rick Gates. He has three small children. Of course the Sater stuff is older, more to do with Trump’s past real estate swindles, so …

There he is: Felix Sater cavorting with the Russian mob and the Trump campaign. It’s like he was jumping up and down, waving his arms, saying ā€œLook at me! Look at me!ā€

The Trump gang will never be successful criminals if they keep making rookie mistakes like this.

But her emails!

Anyone else noticed how we haven’t heard a single word of Democratic dissent, discontent or disquiet from the Senate Intelligence committee lately?

Who is that mook in the middle? He looks like a man voted most likely to end up in the trunk of a Caddy.

Yes. Also, where is Nunes these days? Not long ago he was everywhere.

Give him time. Given that I think his freedom in probably on the line (I really get a criminal stink from Nunes) and I don’t see him doing well in jail, he’ll find a way to try to get involved in monkey-wrenching this thing again.

Look what just turned up on Rawstory even as Nunes came up here:

hahahahahaha

Jeez, take a minute and look into stuff instead of being a keyboard warrior. Have you actually done any checking into this or are you just following whatever memes on Facebook and the internet tell you? He talks about it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dqhxwo1ZNI and if you stopped to look into it, you'll realize that you miiiiight be wrong.

Ummm, that was snark. From a month ago. I’m well aware of the history between Sater and Trump. And I’m not going to click on your link. Relax.
