Whatever she is, Liz Wahl is no Democrat:
I guess she won’t be getting any money from the NRA after the RT stunt…
So the next frontier for subverting democracy must entail running as a dem and legislating as an R, or winning then switching parties.
If they can’t win legally, they’ll reject democracy.
So the actual democrat lost by less than a thousand votes in november. On the one hand, that means the district is winnable and hence should attract candidates, but on the other there is just the tiniest bit of a red flag peeking out.
I look forward to hearing her thoughtful policy positions on Medicare for All and the $15 minimum wage.
No, Just no.
Are we sure she’s not a double agent or maybe finding a way to burrow into the party from the inside? Hate to have to think like that these days but it is what it is. Maybe I’ve become too cynical for my own good.
A job at RT is just as tainting as a job at faux news. I wouldn’t trust her with a ‘fun size’ candy bar.

Maybe she’s had encouragement from Jill Stein?
This. Undermine and make a mockery of. The cynicism of the enemies of democracy knows no bounds.
Good luck washing out that RT stain/stench.
The other GOP moles into the Dem party won’t be so easy to detect.
That article only states that neocons used that resignation to try to help stage a comeback of the cold war. It provides no proof that Liz Wahl has any connection to the neocons whatsoever or was in any way deliberately acting in their interests. What’s more, the article itself smells like Russian propaganda. It’s not as though it made any attempt to disprove or push back against any of Wahl’s claims about Putin or the motives of RT. It only tried to cast doubts about her motives for making such claims. That’s a Putin style diversion if ever I saw one.
She resigned very puiblicly, so she’s got that on her side. (Although caveats as the link above)
I’d like to know what she’s been doing since then in the way of community service and organizing that qualifies her for this.
She resigned on air in 2014. That was a couple of years before Russian interference in our political process became a story. It appears as though she was trying to raise awareness rather early of the dangers Putin posed. I’d be willing to bet she was duped by the Russians, became aware of the fact that she was duped and now wishes to make amends. That would be my guess anyway.
Don’t trust her Houston!
Yeah right, do you have any clue who you’re accusing of stinking up the joint with Russian propaganda?
And, can you give us one single solitary lone whiff of a good reason to trust your allegiance to our common cause?
Crickets…
I thought so.
That would be my hope. Time will tell though. I’m not going to reject her without knowing anything about her.
