Because McConnell is part of the Russian conspiracy, McDonough.

Does this surprise anyone? Not me, at all. This is what you would do when you have something to hide.

What surprises me is “And nobody else?” “Yes" because I believe Ryan had reasons he wanted to water it down, too.

When 40% (ish) of the body of government is actively working against the truth and against the national interest, I am not sure what exactly you’re supposed to do.

The framers of the Constitution likely did not consider this specific failure mode.

Thanks, Yertle. Great work.

McConnell did this because he needed Trump to be elected. If Hillary won, and nominated a SCT justice more liberal than Merrick Garland, McConnell would look like a complete idiot for having blocked Garland’s nomination. This was pure self-interest.

Sure they did …

It’s called TREASON ! …

and there is more than just one in this Congress that knew ahead of time what was going on …

This topic has been discussed months ago. Why is It still news?

The answer is sitting on the Supreme Court: Justice Gorsuch. McConnell did everything he could to get a conservative majority on the Court, even if it meant electing Trump.

Yes yes he is.

That’s why he held the SCOTUS seat open. He didn’t do that for Hilary Clinton - that defies all sense. He did it because he knew HIlary wasn’t going to win. He knew because they all did because Dana Rorbacher, who may be closer to Putin than Trump, told them so.

In response to McConnell’s communications director’s plea to “Give me a break,” the answer is “No.”

Even after 7 years in office, President Obama, the Commander in Chief, still couldn’t make a decision without the Republican’s approval.

American Democracy was under attack, and Obama was too afraid of the Republicans to do anything about it.

He was the Commander in Chief, and he did essentially nothing to defend the country from this attack.

THIS.

Remember, that Turtle blocked Garland looked like an entirely stupid move on his part, because it would have been indeed stupid in normal circumstances. But, of course, something not normal was going on. And he knew it. Otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to block Garland with that degree of comfort, confidence and certainty.

Exactly - it never made any sense on the face of it. He denies Obama the right to make the appointment just to give it to Hilary fucking Clinton? They don’t love her any more than they did Obama so no. That never made sense.

The only thing that makes sense is if they knew, or at least some of them knew.

It’s about damn time that info gets out.
McConnell was going to use it as an wedge issue against Hillary if the truth got out during the campaign as in
tampering with the election, imagine that.
Mueller should check on his involvement in the scheme of things while he’s at it.
There is plenty there McConnell should answer for.
Throw in some china stuff also.

Word! It is about damn time.

I think the framers considered it, but didn’t know what to do about it either. After all, when asked what the Constitutional Convention achieved, Ben Franklin famously said: “A Republic - if you can keep it.”

I really hope it catches on

How much that started out as whispers went to full out screams? The state of his mental health for example. I think it will catch on as more information comes out.
