Discussion: Former MSNBC Host: Walker Is 'A Freaking Loser' Who Isn't Smart Enough

Discussion for article #240938

Love Ed. Would love to know the MSNBC back story, have heard Tweety mention him a couple of times in what seemed a less than positive manner.

Ed has been in the trenches fighting to rid WI of Walker since day one. Enjoy a very long moment in the sun, buddy. You sure as hell deserve it.

I don’t think there is one. Ed was part of the massacre that occurred a couple months back when they got rid of Alex Wagner, Joy Ann Reid, The Cycle, and moved Al Sharpton to Sunday mornings. I doubt there’s any ill will. Matthews smiled and remarked the other day that Ed Schultz must be dancing in the streets.

You’ve got to take your victories where ever you can find them. This IS a victory.

I said it earlier but I think it is true - Scott Walker was enough of a yes-man to the Koch brothers that they gave him a chance and because they supported him it gave him a lot of clout among the punditry. In reality Walker is pretty much as stupid as you would think he is by looking at him and while he has capitalized on riding the right wing in Wisconsin he doesn’t have the brains to translate that to a national stage.

Alas, Walker is still very much in Wisconsin.

And should he decide not to seek re-election, his lite guv is about as dreadful as he is.

Meanwhile, the WI D’s don’t look ready for prime time.

“Schultz said Walker dropping out was good news for Republicans…”

I disagree.

Walker offered the GOP ticket solid military and foreign-policy credentials as head of the Wisconsin National Guard.

But he is a right wing slut…

What? You mean that wasn’t about Walker? Could have fooled me.

Is Schultz going to run for office in Wisconsin?

Fiorina is doubling down hardcore with lies on top of lies (and Faux, of course, is trying to bolster her and calls it “refuting” the claims that she lied and that the videos don’t contain what she said they contain):

I know how this sounds, but this is a serious comment: he can’t possibly be as stupid as he looks. He wouldn’t be able to put on his shoes in the morning.

That’s a superPAC ad, not Fiorina.

While I’m sure Ed is doing the Midwest shuffle on this…I’m still not a big fan. Not after his temper tantrum in 2010 where he told Dem voters to stay home to “send a message”. Irresponsible as hell to do that and it cost them, big time.

I don’t expect perfection from progressive pundits (and there are certainly nothing close to it on MSNBC and even less so after Comcast did their cull), but neither do I expect them to actively cheerlead voters to stay home. GOP does enough voter suppression, they don’t need an assist from the progressive side.

When he stays in his lane, he’s very good. Union stuff, he’s good.

And Eagle Scout … don’t forget Eagle Scout! He said that’s what made him ready to be President.

I’d still like to see Ed run in North Dakota. Our bench there isn’t terribly deep.

The Kochs thought they could manipulate him. Turns out, he was even to dumb to manipulate.
