Discussion: Former GOP Candidate In FL Gets Probation For Lying About Diploma

They should have offered her the option of going back and completing her degree with in one year since she contended that she had been “really really close” to finishing … suspect it would have gotten super awkward - suspect that - in total truth - it would take her more like two years + to fulfill all of the requirements with a GPA eligible for graduation

Oh that one was a piece of work.
This is what Trump has done to the party.
Removed Shame
She had every intention of continuing her campaign because she thought it didn’t matter that she was a lying piece of shit.
She thought the ® and blond hair gave her immunity like her Trump bribe taking pal Pam Bondi

She “only” falsely claimed to have a college degree, whereas Trump falsely claimed to have an actual college! If you’re not cheating or lying or raping someone, you’re not a Republican.

She had an older woman – I presume her mom – pose with her and the fake diploma. I’ll bet my lunch money she was lying about it to her family, too.

You must be too young. The Dixiecrat GOP lost the normal human capacity to feel embarrassment and shame during the Flim Flam Reagan Years.

She had faced a misdemeanor count of misrepresenting her academic standing at a university.

So, how are none of the literally thousands of false statements made by Trump not being prosecuted?

Surely among the many lies he told while campaigning, which he told for the purpose of influencing the election, there is at least one over which he can be prosecuted.

Hard to blame her. Trump also lies about things that are easily disproven, and seems to suffer no consequences. I guess her big mistake was telling only one transparent whopper. Trump’s secret is to continue the storm surge of bullshit at such a relentless pace, no one has a chance to call him on any of it before he’s produced more of the same.

This is why I hate it when TPM drops AP stories without vetting.

The woman in the photo is her mother and together they forged the diploma they are holding.

They, both, faced forgery of a diploma (not sure of legal term), which is much more than just “misrepresenting.”

Kind of wears you out

We need to find a term to describe the phenomenon. Perhaps “Whopper Weariness,” or “Falsehood Fatigue.”

Fox Fib Fatigue?
Bullshit Bomb Burnout?
