Doesn’t this continued onslaught of lawsuits hurt Murdoch’s odds of gaining approval for ownership of (Sky)?
I would love to hear how this ties in–what about lawsuits in British courts?
I’d like to know if it affects his chances of acquiring Blackstone (?), the parent company of the L.A. Times, etc.
We all know that Conservatism breeds misogyny, racism, hate, etc., but I find it almost fascinating just how pervasive it is throughout Fox. It’s going to take take years to root it all out. And even then unless they change the content and on-air personnel, problems such as these will continue.

Hopefully. Although my understanding is they’re looking at acquiring Tribune Media; the L.A. Times is owned by Tribune Publishing (er, Tronc), which split off from TM in 2014.
If the allegation here is true, it’s also going to raise some interesting questions for Fox’s law firm doing the ostensibly independent investigation. Most likely, though, fox just reads all its employees email messages and has a flagging program for certain addresses.
less than 24 hours after reaching out to the Paul Weiss law firm, Fox terminated Ms. Golloher in retaliation for her complaint.
Given the extent of the delay, I think we can safely say that the two incidents have, at most, a coincidental relationship.
