Woolsey does not suffer fools gladly. He must be a second tier advisor and that will rankle as Donnie does what Donnie does. Jimmy is also a bit of a fanatic which is not healthy in a CIA Director. That view colors everything that comes in front of his eyes.
I guess that explains why Bill Clinton would sometimes tell people his CIA briefings were so weak that he usually got better intel from reading the newspapers - it was because his head of CIA was apparently an incompetent paranoiac given to supporting authoritarian mental cases.
