Discussion: Former Breitbart Staffers Warn Against Trump’s New Campaign Chief

“Moderate” and “centrist” GOPers? I thought they were extinct.

That’s why I used the quotes. Bush and his crowd are simply less overtly crazy, and do a better job of hiding the real nature of their agenda, which is the same as Trump’s: cut taxes on the wealthy to zero, repeal voting rights for non-whites, make unions illegal, eliminate all environmental protections, turn all federal lands, including National Parks, over to private extraction interests, make Christianity the de facto state religion, destroy non-secular public education, turn Social Security over to private equity fund vultures, and give the defense department a blank check for whatever the hell it wants.

CBS This Morning usually provides an assist as with this morning’s lite rehash of Hillary’s emails 3.0 or something…the white supremacy Trumpian racism??? Not so much…

Well this should make the debates interesting. All Hillary has to do is prepare rebuttals for whatever sewage Breitbart’s website is spewing, because you know Trump will present them as “gotcha” remarks. Reminds me of a certain recent Presidential candidate’s reliance on FOX News talking points which led to the epic “Please proceed, Governor” smack down…

Bardella called Bannon “pathological liar who has a temperament that governs by bullying and intimidation and functions very much like a dictator at Breitbart.”

Gee, I wonder what Donald Trump sees in the guy?

Milo Yiannopoulos works at Breitbart and has been at the center of a lot of ugly controversies.

I think Josh’s tweet from last night explains it very well.

It's basically Hipster white nationalism, millennial rebrand of old product https://t.co/khVEs4UoVn

I’m having a hard time reconciling ‘One of the worst people on God’s green earth’ with the ones who are despising him. The absolute cluelessness of these people actually floors me.

Look at his picture. Look at most pictures of him. I’d bet good money that Bannon is an alcoholic. I was raised by a man like this and I can spot it from 50 paces. He always looks like he’s coming off a weekend bender. While someone’s personal life is none of my business, I do think that having someone who might be struggling with his own demons at the head of a campaign for someone who is a demon could be pretty disastrous.

How about “simpering little fuckwit”?

tflick, the nose is a dead give away. The bulbous, red nose. You are absolutely right. In my line of work, we deal with substance abusers all the time. This is a trademark of the alcoholic. I’ve seen it all too often.

I’m sorry - none of this makes any sense to me. It’s as if Trump is trying to fail; or perhaps becoming President is a very secondary concern. He has his core of unsavory followers from the primaries, and rather than broadening his appeal he is narrowing it, eliminating any redeeming value that may have been associated with his campaign. He is losing swing voters everywhere, and when he sees evidence of this, he simply doubles down. I’m baffled.

Would that be Donnie’s very orange, very thin skin?

New Trump manager: We want him to be 'comfortable about being in his own skin’

The aspiring leader of the free world must damn well better be 'comfortable in his own skin"…

Is she suggesting Trump is a little insecure wimp ? Hah, I knew it !
Kellyanne, you better watch it ! One more of those slips and you are out of the job…

In Bannon - Trump has found his -
Joseph Goebbels - Minister of Propaganda - Goebbels’ Propaganda Ministry quickly gained and exerted controlling supervision over the news media, arts, and information in Germany. He was particularly adept at using the relatively new media of radio and film for propaganda purposes.

Bannon, who was officially brought on as the Trump campaign’s CEO on Wednesday, was a combative, volatile figure who would intensify the Republican nominee’s fraught relationship with the press.

November 8 cannot come soon enough… :skull:

@tflick You’re not alone in this suspicion. Had the same instantaneous reaction myself. Been in recovery for over twenty years (don’t think I ever looked quite that bad, but then we told ourselves and others a lot of lies) and I’ve seen more than a few faces like that come in the doors. With Bannon - I thought I could smell stale booze stink coming through the computer.

There can only be one of those in the Trump campaign - as long as it is Trump…

Despite the FBI’s firm warnings to Congress to not leak the info they gave them yesterday afternoon…

…there are already reporters with that info this morning.

Not even 24 freaking hours.

Already hearing from people who have been contacted by reporters with knowledge of the content of their interviews in FBI 302's. (1/2)

Well Costa-Gavras fans, tighten your belts for an event, like the yakkers haven’t yet stroked-out on jaw movement. Someone hit with a brick or beaten in the streets? Well, maybe electronically…drone slugfest or professional cloaked strike?

As others have undoubtedly noted, now would be a good time to formally tie these people with the GOP in general, erase (the practically non-existent) boundary between them and the GOP mainstream and remind voters of what a wretched hive of scum and villainy they’ve been duped into supporting all this time.
