I can’t remember any historical instance of two despots trying to simultaneously control one organization.

I nearly fell off the chair the other night when the CBS Evening news said
" …and Donald Trump repeated the lie that he had always been against the Iraq war…"
and proceeded to show the clip after actually using the “L” word
The 4th estate indeed finding some balls, or being pressured from above . (Which I think is a more likely scenario)

Seen it all, indeed. Today’s GOP has been like watching the news video of the house next to the sinkhole, knowing it would some day slide off into the abyss. Now the devil himself has reached up and grabbed the house and all of its occupants and is dragging them to the fires below.
It’s unlikely, but maybe a lesson will be learned.
