Do ya think that this small group of Repubs is meeting at the local steak house to decide who gets to get elected???
Whoever wins will be labeled a RINO anyway. Thatās why ousting Cantor will only benefit the Democrats.
When you refer to TPers as exotic, considering accusations were made these idiots referred to Obama with the same words, you know mud is being thrown in the fight. A cruel irony indeed for these exotic birds.
Bakersfield is just a small CA town of about 360k. How could you leave out dairy cows in the San Joaquin Valley.
Nom nom nom, I hear Republicans eating their own againā¦
āā¦thereās no way to please folks that canāt even run a candidate [or policy] of their own but they want to run out to the media and complain.ā
We know.
The republican party is performing their version of āThe Lord Of The Fliesā. The sooner they destroy each other, the sooner America can start moving forward.
Interesting how the House GOP can be in a big damned hurry to find a new majority leader but ignore many important things they need to deal with. The peopleās business is clearly not nearly as important as who gets the number two job in the House.
Nice work GOP
sheesh
what i see here is the real lunatics taking over the loony bin.
its like sarah palin taking over the republican party.
Republicans let the nut cases do their dirty work but now these nut cases have destroyed them. Talk about āthe chickens coming home to roostā.
So now you have the crazies voting for their nut cases in the primaries as if sane people will never vote in the actual 2014 mid term elections. I think I like this
Nah! there at arbyās
Cantor is loving this donāt ya think? He got booted but now it is, by comparison, becoming apparent that he was the just right mixture of teabagger nuts, right-wing wacko and able to blend all of it into looking leaderly.
KAOS is what the Repubs have become, by choice, so no sympathy required.
Agent 86 and 99 may be needed to straighten this one out. The righties need to, āGet Smart.ā
On Thursday Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and Steve King (R-IA)
Or as Democrats call themā¦the GOP intellectuals.
There is already tea party angst
Yeah, there has been for a while now.
They seem to have fixed the typo. Bakersfield is one of the main cities where they make modern country music, if you like that sort of thing
Also oil, cattle, and Republicans, and lots of farm workers, many of whom as Hispanic, but there are also other Mexican cultures in the Central Valley, like Oaxacans.
Cantor was a real problem for the Republicans. The corporate wing of the party wanted the Tea Baggers around to do the dirty work of attacking Democrats and the hard work of getting voters to the polls and getting right-wingers to donate money, but Cantor didnāt get the message that they werenāt supposed to actually make policy.
They were supposed to be somewhat like the position of women in politics in both parties in the 1970s - do the organizing, run the phone banks and envelope-stuffing parties, but let the men be the candidates.
Right, but the moneybags call the shots in the Republican party. The base might object to a person they see as an immigrant-loving Jewish (and therefore in their eyes highly suspect) Congressman who votes 100% with the Koch brothers, but the people who call the shots certainly do not. None of the party leadership is from the south, even though that is where the base is located. The job of the Tea Partiers is to vote, agitate do the footwork, and let the elites run the party. They shouldnāt forget it.
Agree completely but Iām wondering if the teabaggers are in the process of āforgetting itā? I mean, if there are enough baggers in the House, would they have the stones to rise up and demand that the base be adequately represented? True, money is power but the teabaggers may have the numbers on their side. I donāt know. Iām guessing only time will tell with that.
No, thatās BakersFIELD. I have never heard of any Bakersville.
I guess you thought by not correcting somebody elseās use of Bakersville I was confirming there was such a place. I do know better. Iām from San Francisco, and my better half was born in Taft just a short way up the road from Bakersfield.
