Some good news, plus the chance Gillum may be in there for a continuing fight for the vote too with a near draw with Scott in vote count, so far. Is a recount underway yet in his race?

Fried is winning Ag Commissioner!!! I know people outside of Florida might not care but this feels huge to me. Last time Florida elected a Democrat to a State wide office was in 2006 when Alex Sink won CFO. This morning Fried was down 8k now she is up over 500 votes. Super tight but seems to be going her direction.

Ron DeSantis is being treated very badly. Very badly. Such a smart man. A very smart man. Not a genius, maybe, I don’t know, they call me that, haven’t heard him called it, but I hear it a lot. Anyway, Florida is better off with this smart guy than with a thief. Hey, Ron, maybe you could turn around the failing New York Times. He could do it. I could do it so fast your head would spin. Where’s Pocahontas? She tried to steal a million bucks from me, but I proved she wasn’t an Indian. Whoowhoowhoowhoo. That’s how call her when I catch her saying nasty things about me. Ron, a very smart guy. Incredible. Would have lost, but I came down and turned things around for him. Happy to do it.

If it is a straight-up recount, remote is the optimistic term.

If there are substantial numbers of uncounted ballots from areas favoring the Dems, or some mechanical/electronic/procedural error that produced an initial undercount of Dem votes, you can upgrade their chances.

I believe it was in this race (but might be Nelson?), but I read that there also seems to be an unusually large number of undervotes at the top of the ballot which may be due to, among other things, calibration issues. If there is a hand count, there may be a whole lot of unregistered votes that show up…

Yes, voting ballot problems. Florida. 18 years later. I’m betting there’s third-world countries with better and more efficient voting systems.

I think the Senate race is closer, so probably the more likely of the two. Agree that Gillum would be the more important win though.

Since 3am Wed slow drip from these 2 Dem controlled counties cut Scott lead from 54 to 17K. And they refuse to disclose # of ballots they have left
