When will Republican women finally break through the glass-ceiling and get the $35,000 in bribes to drop charges and lawsuits against Trump like their male counterparts, instead of this sexist $25,000 crap?
If a Democratic AG had solicited and obtained a bribe from a presidential candidate you can bet weâd be hearing about it on every news channel. But since itâs a Republican the response will just be ÂŻ_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Okay, much clearer timing than the Texas case.
Of course, Hillary still hasnât released the transcripts of those Wall Street speeches, which is obviously a bigger deal than buying non-justice. And, now that I think of it, Trump probably figures that only taking bribes is corruption - offering them is just good business practice.
Ms. AG, you asked for a bribe, then did the quid pro quo? Wouldnât you want to put someone behind bars for such a stunt?
âBondiâs office said that its statement about receiving only a single complaint was accurate at the time because most of the complaints dealt with the Trump Institute, a separate corporate entity from Trump University.â
Which, itself, was separate from the Trump Family Foundation, the Ivanka Trump Foundation, The Trump Organization, and the other 515 subsidiaries bearing Trumpâs name.
See â totally unrelated to Trump.
âŚUhhh - youâre the real racist.
Or something.
God, Iâm enjoying this!
Mr. Quid, let me introduce you to Mrs. Pro Quo.
Yeah, Iâm a racist. Iâd like to see her backside racisted straight to the big house. There, racist.
Theyâll try that subterfuge but this
âŚwill show that to be a lie.
âWhen I want something I get it,â the presumptive Republican nominee said at an Iowa rally in January. âWhen I call, they kiss my ass. Itâs true.â
Now thatâs a pretty pictureâPamâs immaculately lipsticked lips firmly planted on Donaldâs pimply, dimpled derriere.
Naah â I think sheâs a rimmer â
So, seeing as how election laws are a joke in this country - does this matter?
While the Bondi quid pro quo seems blatantly obvious, it does make the Texas case far more precarious because it shows Donaldâs MO. Abbott got the promise of a large campaign donation for his future run for TX guv, something he most definitely has in his sights when he dismissed Donaldâs case.
And, from what Iâd read previously, the TX payout was also from the charitable foundation which means Donald is likely looking at a few more audits very, very soon.
Sheâs about to learn that the only thing worse than being held up for $25,000 by Trump University â is taking $25,000 from it.
Come om, MSM! This is a Pulitzer for someone. A Woodward and Bernstein moment. Rise to the occasion! Please!
Good point on the MO; how well-established is the promise in the Texas case, or was it simply implied?
$25K donation received only four days after she suggested FL might join the lawsuit. What an amazing coincidence! (snort)
Remind me again why Don Siegelman is in jail. Nobody even gave him any money!
YeahâŚyouâre a loser, Don Siegelman!
