Barr Claimed In April That He Didn’t Know How Mueller Viewed His Letter

That of course is going to be one reason that he will avoid showing up at the House.

  1. The only people in Congress who appear to know how to ask questions of a hostile witness are the former prosecutors.

  2. A member of Congress shouldn’t have to be Perry Mason to get a full, good faith and true response ffrom the Attorney Fucking General of the United Fucking States to a question from a member of Congress even when the member asks one question that should have been three!

To call AG Barr mendacious is extraordinarily polite. He has shown himself to be an untrustworthy SOB who shouldn’t be allowed near children or any issue of consequence.

Barr: Mueller didn’t say the exact words “I don’t support”, so I don’t know whether he supported it or not.

Keep up!

Look, the Kavanaugh hearings taught us that people who testify in front of Congress aren’t expected to be truthful in their responses to questions. So what if Barr straight up lied in answering Crist’s question? Sheesh, at least he’s not on the Supreme Court, so it’s a pretty venial sin compared to Kavanaugh’s.

I would be willing to bet that Barr likes beer too. The questioning today may not get around to exactly that point, but I suspect that Barr is going to explain it all based on some point similarly cogent and relevant.

Why Barr chose to torch his reputation and reduce it to smoldering cinders is a subject deserving a thorough investigation.

Senator, at the time I answered those questions, I was, I say, I was, totally unaware that Ed Callahan had reconvened The Truth Squad, and had kept that letter from reaching my desk.

ETTD…but even that stretches the imagination.

I’ve never been one for conspiracy theories, but the one about the GOP cementing in their dominance of all three branches of government despite being a minority party is quickly gaining cogency and subscription in my mind.

“Mr. Barr, are you familiar with the legal term ‘perjury’? Can you please explain how this term would not currently apply to you?”

THese fools don’t seem to learn anything from history. WHen you close off all avenues of redress, that’s when the real patriotic crowds come out and it won’t be the RWNJ with their solipsistic whining about being “replaced” it will be people demanding their rights as enumerated in the founding documents. If the 2020 election looks to be a rigged farce things could get very ugly very quickly.

If this country is to survive, Congress, ie the Democrats, are going to have to come down hard on William Barr. The AG cannot be allowed to lie with impunity.

So Barr committed perjury by lying to Congress right? Right?!?!

There is something really dark and dangerous hidden in the background of the entirety of the GOP rallying around the dotard even as they have to know, even in their bubble, that they are destroying any semblance of credibility they once pretended too. What the hell are they all so desperately trying to hide?
