Who cares, is he angling to primary The Rump or to wait until 2024? Either way, the junior Senator gets it right like the Phoenix weatherman, when the question is predictable and obvious through no effort of his own.
I guess it’s better that Flake say something than remain silent. But that’s about all I’m willing to give him.

Flake is way, way, way too late to the garden party.
That’s why I don’t have the “reputation for thoughtfulness” that somehow finds itself into every journalistic reference to people like Flake. Also it’s years since I had to choke down one of those funky omelets so I don’t feel it as keenly as I once did. I know at least two places in town to get awesome omelets. It helps you put the bad memories behind you. 
I’ll bet $1 he’s still going to vote to confirm Kavanaugh. Talk is cheap, Senator.
