Got a turd in your pocket?
“We can’t Bent to Trump”
Flake’s failure to realize that truism is why we have that beautiful tax cut that is working beautifully.
“Not inclined.” Well, that’s a strong declaration. (Someone who’s lying down flat is “not inclined.”)
Gee, that’s a switch, Jeff. Usually you lean so far back for Trump you can even kiss your own ass besides kissing his.
Yeah, not inclined unless someone dims the lights first.
This guy’s a yes. And Graham too. Paul? I got no idea 'cause he’s nuts.
Say what you want about flake, he’s right on how to deal with Dump. Congress should just pass whatever they want and stick it in front of him. He’ll sign anything he can convince himself is a “win” so he can brag and go golf some more.
Fuck you, Flake. Go give another of your oh-so-concerned speeches, furrow your brow ever-so-much-more deeply, and go hang out with Corker, Collins, and all the other Rethug Quislings who talk a great game, but still vote to fuck the country every time that it matters.
At least Ted Cruz doesn’t try to pretend that he cares about America. Pretty said when I think less of you than I do of Cruz (whom I detest).
They’re all yeses. Every one of them. Collins, Flake, Graham, Paul, Cruz, Corker – all the liars who every-so-often make noises as if they MIGHT vote against their Partei, but alwaysalwaysalways fold in the end.
If they pass something today, both houses, Trump will sign it, anything, today so he can have a long weekend at maralargo, a place where he’s appreciated.
Charlie Brown, I will hold the football one more time so you can kick it. Perhaps Flake has had enough. It could happen.
Charlie Brown always crashes to the ground, but Lucy gets to say a new punch line.
Yes, Jeff, we know you’re running in 2020.
“We’ve already settled on what you are. Now we’re negotiating the price.”
When are we going to return to a time when we give credit and respect to those we generally disagree with when they say and / or the right thing. When they do not we need to consistently, aggressively, respectfully oppose. Never will governance work when we oppose, name call and never recognize where common ground may exist.
This would be a good cloture vote for Senate Democrats to explicitly start giving people a reason to repeal and replace Republicans. The first reasons on offer should be a permanent, automatic continuing resolution and a permanent repeal of the “debt ceiling.” No more lurching from one budgetary hostage crisis to the next.
I’ll believe it when I see it, Jeffy.
Flake ‘Not Inclined’ To Back GOP Spending Deal
Good. That’s a beginning. Now we need a middle and an end.
Exactly. Another “Flake 2020” photo op.
