Flake is trying to look courageous by giving the occasional speech to try to pave the way for a presidential run. But he does nothing to back up his words. He votes with Trump nearly 100% of the time, like a good little Republican toady, including all of Trumpās utterly awful nominees. Letās make sure we donāt forget, when Flake inevitably runs for president, that his words are empty as he continues to fail to back his words up with action.

Itās hard not to conclude heās been trying to have it both ways. But this is quite a step to take, comparing the sitting President to Josef Stalin. So Iām going to reserve judgment about where he is right now and what he plans to do in the future. Iām not making any assumptions, but sometimes things change over time. Just saying.
