Discussion: FL Prosecutor Investigates Trump Camp CEO Steve Bannon's Voting Records

As Josh has referenced elsewhere, likely more interesting to authorities is whether Bannon was creating a Florida residence profile to avoid state income tax on his earnings.

Two hours, tops, until Governor Rick “Skeletor” Scott shuts down the investigation.

Marching orders from Drumpf Tower.

Like the chef who tastes her sauce to see if it needs more seasoning, you can’t really understand voter fraud until you commit it yourself.

Whenever I see a pic of Bannon, I can’t help thinking that he’d look more natural in a wife-beater undershirt…

I think this is missing the boat. Having documents showing Florida residence could be useful. The states where he worked should be looking at his taxes.

Two Observations:
Bannon has the mug of a world class juicer!
Is Orange the new GOP?

Yep. Its not about his voting record. That’s small potatoes compared to being a serial tax evader.

Although nailing him for both would be just so, oooooh, such a heaping portion of Schadenfreude!

Lock him up, then see if he did anything wrong. That’s the Republican way!

Yeah, but here’s the legal breakdown as far as the legal system goes in Teatroll Land with respect to the crime of voter registration fraud:

Being brown and/or a Dem/liberal is one of the elements and prima facie evidence of the crime.

Being white and/or a GOPer/Teatroll/conservative is an affirmative defense, perhaps even in the nature of justification.

Time for some new donations from the Trump Foundation to some deserving recipients who happen to be working on a case relevant to his interests.

He may not have voted in FL, but did he register (& vote) in DC, NY or CA where he also apparently lives & works?

I’ve noticed that is an article of faith for Tea Party warriors that the payment of any taxes whatsoever is the ultimate sin. Tax evasion the ultimate good. It’s like religious dogma.

Maybe that’s a bit overstated. But not by much.

One of the Twitter feeds (@LOLGOP) I follow has issued a challenge: Try to find a photo of Bannon where he doesn’t appear to have shaved more than 48 hours ago.

Did Branon vote anywhere? When one changes registration are they required to notify the last place they were registered? More importantly, as noted elsewhere, did his taxes claim Florida residency and yet he voted in California or New York?

I’ve dealt with business and personal tax issues in my business affairs. Reciprocal agreements between states. Cross collections. Remittance by one state taxing authority to a different state’s system on interstate transactions. It’s a touchy issue between some states. Florida doesn’t want a reputation as attracting, enabling and in essence protecting people and businesses falsely using them as a state of residence or business. I’ve sold goods as tax exempt only to have the customer raise hell with me because when they took them to register and use in another state that state’s taxing authorities made them cough up sales tax. Not my problem, that’s between you and your state. If Bannon is effing with tax agencies the vote registration aspect of his residency is the least of his worries.

He looks like a drunk who’s been on a bender and just realized he was part of political campaign and had to show up. Get this man to a barber and then into rehab.

After a few weeks on Trump’s campaign, he will be on a “legitimate bender”, for sure!
