How is this still a thing? Where are they getting food? How are they getting mail? The U.S. Postal Service is aiding and abetting these scofflaws by actually delivering mail to them?? WTF?!
If this was happening in the '20s and they were “simply” making whiskey, G-men would have shut them down two weeks ago.

To paraphrase A Bundy… the priority isn’t the refuge and the community. It’s the ranchers (grazing and habitat destruction), the loggers (total deforestation for individual profit), and the miners… right! Getting the rules and overall community out of our personnel way. Assholes

For the umpteenth time, give them hour to surrender for arrest or forcibly remove them.
A little flash and bang and a few tear gas canisters, and these guys will be like little lambs (but with messy pants).

If you read further down the thread you get the inevitable people bitching at him for not using it to feed the hungry etc. Then someone defends him by saying he donates hundreds of thousands of dollars for causes like that, so it seems he’s just one of those cool rich dudes. Not that I can verify any of that, but I know they are out there. I have known a few…

He would have to be rich to blow a grand on lube just to make a point. A grand would go a long way for my family but I am happy, very happy to see it used this way for the intended reason.

heh heh heh…from the amazon link …only 2 left in stock.
It is a lot of money, but I’m not rich and I almost had to pay $1000 for accidentally throwing away my son’s retainer last weekend! (thankfully we got the insurance when we got the first one so it was only $300). Then earlier this week a dude in a BMW side swiped me and fixing my fender is $1200 for my honda civic! And I’m sure his car will be even more. Anyway, my point is money is wasted on far less interesting things all the time =P
