Attack Trump? They are all hoping the moderators will do that. They are too cowardly to do it themselves because they know what will happen to anyone who says anything disparaging about âhe who cabât wait to say, âYouâre Fired!ââ to any and all of them!

As Jon Stewart said, billionaires like him are supposed to support our candidates, not be our candidates. Trump fails to understand the division of power in our system. Still, if weâre going to be run by billionaires, shouldnât we see who they are? Even the Kochs are more liberal than most of the politicians on their dime.
This âdebateâ at FAUX News will be the political equivalent of the old âGong Showâ! And scheduling this clownfest at 5:00 is criminal. Think of the pileups on the highways as people are consumed with fits of laughter.

You missed the point of the essay. The point is that the others in the GOP clown car are in an impossible position, created by their own seven years of hysterically out-of-step rhetoric. This is sweet, sweet, sweet.
Trump will not be the nominee. But every day that heâs the front-runner, with favorables rising, is a day that the other 16 are fighting to say ever more outrageous things which will come back and bite them in the ass in the general.
Absent a Hillary catastropheâsuch as triangulating and attacking Bernie, which the old-school New Dems running Clinton campaign are unfortunately capable of doingâDems win WH in '16.

If Monday nightâs candidate forum is any guide, many of the candidates are still finding themselves. Thursday will be a puffball event. The notion that positions on issues matter at this stage seems a bit misguided.

They should attack The Rump for all the workers who his companies have hired illegally. I doubt that they will, however, because American business owners are perfectly happy to hire workers illegally. This is why Republicans focus exclusively on making the immigrantsâ lives miserable, while quietly avoiding the possibility of inconveniencing an American business owner in the slightest.

While I get why some Pubs like Trump, heâs alienating a much wider swath of the American public. In a similar fashion with Christie, the loud-mouthed, arrogant, in-your-face, know it all style rubs way more in the wrong way. Tell me that the average American enjoys working for, listening to or is friendly with similar boorsâŚand Iâll eat my hat.
