Okay. So that’s it? Sorry, but without DIRECT quotes, without vetted testimony, without seeing the evidence from the FISA warrant referenced in this memo, it isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.
This is looking more and more desperate for the President and his allies. Which is understandable, as Bob Mueller, a decorated veteran and career prosecutor, actually knows the law. The President and his buddies apparently do not. President Trump has never had to answer to criminal charges, as his family’s wealth provided plenty of money and lawyers. This is a new and dangerous situation for him. He can’t use non-disclosure agreements or payoffs or excuses with a guy like Mueller. Mueller doesn’t deal in fake news or unsubstantiated claims, and I think it entirely possible that a raft of indictments will be issued in the weeks ahead.
One of the indictments will involve Trump, and it won’t be for firing James Comey. Instead, it will focus on money-laundering, income tax evasion, and obstruction of justice in investigating same. The obstruction that occurred around Comey’s dismissal won’t be a part of it.

This reminds me of all that horseshit the militianoids claimed in the Waco Affair…which is coming up on the 25th annivesarty at the end of the month.
The militia types claimed all kinds of incredible stuff was going on but when they got the report they were screaming for and which cost us $17 million to investigate their goofy suspicions, it was found that all their claims were a steaming pile.
The main conclusion of the report:
The Branch Davidians murdered their children and then committed suicide.
And they STILL can’t accept it.

I think a bunch of these statements may pan out, just not in the way that the speakers intended.
People going to jail as a result of the memo? It may well be a count in the obstruction charges, which now have to include congressional staff and possibly some legislators
Personnel changes? There will likely be FBI and DoJ career folk who quit in disgust over this.
Shaking the FBI? Damn straight every FBI agent is wondering about what kind of government officials would betray their oaths of office so blatantly?
Worse than watergate? Back then, the criminality was confined to the executive branch…
