LOS ANGELES (AP) — First-time candidate Josh Harder defeated four-term Republican U.S. Rep. Jeff Denham Tuesday in California’s farm belt, giving Democrats their fourth pickup of a GOP House seat in California.
This obviously means Kirstjen Nielsen must be fired.Very nice. 
I just learned yesterday that Andy Kim might actually win NJ-3 which would be awesome because that ahole MacArthur went super racist in his campaign.
We all need to realize, that “Blue Wave” we hoped for was really a Blue Tide, which is more subtle and much more enduring.
Coastal folks know the difference between waves and tides, and this is definitely a tide.
And it just keeps rising Blue.
Waves are short-lived, and hard to predict, tides are reliable, irresistible, and they lift all our Blue Boats.
The difference in those dynamics is playing out across the nation, and it looks like the Blue Tide still has room to rise.
Or, as my Grandma used to say, “That turnip isn’t going to dig itself out of the ground!”

I supported Josh and am very happy about this result. I remember 18 years ago when a younger Adam Schiff broke through and won a Burbank CA district that had been held by one of the guys who ran the impeachment of Bill Clinton (James Rogan) and LA County basically hasn’t look back. Within a few years, most every GOPer was gone. The blue wave in CA has now spread to Orange County and is creeping into more rural areas. I do think when Dems finally start flipping rural areas, California will be one of the first to drop. California is an example of how one builds and expands a party’s reach.
I’ve forgotten the names, but there is a disputed race between a Korean-American Republican woman and a Democrat. Any updates on that one?
And with reasonable districting, too.

50.2 to 49.8 in favor of the Republican. The race has yet to be called as of yesterday.
Losing in the coastal areas is one thing, but when you lose in the Central Valley, there isn’t much left.

MacArthur ran some vile ads - dark and jihadist. Shows how scared he was. But seriously, he thought that he could vote for that GOP Tax Scam which hurts NJ and that it’d be okay? I’ve always said that the Deplorables were also Delusional!!
