What is IT? It’s so big this font can hardly contain IT!
It’s a new political ad from Udall!!!11!!!
Maybe when you’re dropping in the polls you should consider changing strategies…
I still can’t believe the state that legalized pot would vote for a cretin like Gardner.
One issue voters.
So if two polls in the past week had nudged the other way, I can’t help but wonder if the prevailing comments here would also.
Udall may or may not win, but that doesn’t mean his strategy is bad. It could mean it’s a tough environment this campaign season, which happens to be the case.
Why shouldn’t he point out the actual consequences of Gardner’s politics, which the media seem willing to blithely dismiss because of some “everyone will play nicer if they win” fantasy. And why shouldn’t he tout his defense of privacy laws?
This is an election of minor adjustments, and getting voters to the polls. If these ads get women, and people who care about women’s issues, to the polls, it’s a winning ad. Same with those concerned about government overreach, and voters who want to believe their senator has a streak of independence, not just a rubber stamp.
By this point anyone watching a TV ad is someone who can’t operate their DVR remote. Why is the Udall campaign pouring money into this when they need to concentrate on GOTV?
Most campaigns are capable of doing both at the same time. That said, I hope Udall’s campaign manager is working hard to GOTV.
My thought too.
Sad.
